Nvidia Just Shut Down the AI Bears

    Watch on YouTube

    Summary

John and Pete Nagarian discuss Nvidia’s reported earnings and guidance, arguing that the results challenge bearish views on AI spending and highlighting unusually heavy short-dated call activity before the announcement. They also review positive earnings reactions in cybersecurity and enterprise software, falling market volatility, and upcoming macroeconomic events before turning to college football and the NFL Pro Bowl.

    • The hosts characterize Nvidia’s earnings and outlook as strong evidence of continued AI infrastructure demand.
    • They highlight an initial 90,000 Nvidia call contracts followed by another 30,000, describing the activity as a short-term earnings trade.
    • They rank Nvidia earnings ahead of PCE and Jackson Hole as the week’s main market catalysts, barring a policy surprise.
    • Declining VIX and Nasdaq-focused VXN readings are presented as signs of lower expected market movement.
    • CrowdStrike, Salesforce, and Okta are highlighted for strong earnings-related gains and upbeat business commentary.
    • Prediction markets and the upcoming Rebel Con 2026 event at Circa receive promotional discussion.
    • The hosts warn weekly-options traders to account for Labor Day-related time decay.

    1. Pete Nagarian joining about a minute from now to take a uh a welldeserved pat on the back for his Nvidia trades this week as it surges to the upside on the very significant unusual activity that we're going to show you on today's

    2. Rebels Edge.

    3. [music] >> [music] [music] >> Wow. Uh, what a difference a day makes, Pete, in terms of all of those

    4. naysayers, Michael Bur and all of his pals that want to jump on the short side of, oh, data centers are dead. They're charging way too much. They're not going to be able to build another data center probably in the next 200 years because everybody's against it. They don't like the noise, but they do like using

    5. Enthropic. They do like using Claude, but they don't like the noise. They don't want these data centers. So, that means Nvidia is going to go down, right, Pete?

    6. >> Oh, absolutely, John. I mean, how could it not? [laughter] We did, I will say this, we we did have a we had a week of, you know, Nvidia coming back and dropping a little bit, dropping a little bit each day. But but John, I mean those earnings uh and I know we'll get to it, but those earnings

    7. uh absolutely extraordinary and a perfect kind of an end to the earnings season, at least the major names of the seasons. And Nvidia is always late like they are this this time around. And boy, last night they gave those delivery of some of the numbers that they're they're looking at, John, and I know we'll hit

    8. that, but the they're absolutely unbelievable.

    9. >> Yeah. Well, let's hit that macro, Pete, because we said at the beginning of the week, it's all about three things. It's about PCE, which we got. It's about Nvidia earnings, which we've got, and it's about Jackson Hole tomorrow. And we'll see. But, uh, again, if I were to

    10. rate those three, unless we get a real surprise out of Jackson Hole, I'd say it's Nvidia number one, um, the PCE, uh, number two, and Jackson Hole, a distant third. But Nvidia's quarterly results,

    11. Pete, not 92 billion, 96.2 billion in revenue. And they guided just unbelievably for the next quarter over 104 billion. So any of you guys, Michael Bur, yeah, I'm talking to you, that want

    12. to shoot against this one, good luck.

    13. Good luck. [laughter] >> Michael's not feeling too good about that one.

    14. >> No, I'm sure he's not.

    15. [laughter] You know what, John, though, that that is the macro side of things is we were waiting for these earnings and and you know what, we started on Monday, we talked about it, Tuesday again, Wednesday again, and here we are. And you know, we're we're given the opportunity. And oh, by the way, we still have Marll uh coming in front of us as well. But Nvidia was what people were looking for. They wanted to know

    16. what the biggest and the baddest had to say about what's going on in the AI market. I think they got their answers.

    17. >> Yep, I think they did. And we'll have more on that when we get to the stocks in just a moment, folks. But let's take a look at the VXN, Pete, and the VIX, VIX, because the one is for the NASDAQ, that's VXN, and the VIX is on the S&P

    18. 500. How are the Nvidia earnings playing out there, Pete? Well, um, because the delivery was so strong and so impressive, um, I think people are just having one more last sigh of relief, right? And with that, what does that mean? It means that we're exactly what

    19. you see right there. We are in the 14s.

    20. And you know, it's it's a tight little range that it's in so far this morning.

    21. John, call it 14 12 to 15, but um it is it is amazing. It's a number that uh we probably didn't expect to see this quickly. Um even though we've been kind of coming back and coming back, but here we are and expecting for uh one month

    22. we're down 22%. In the year to date we're still down 3%. And you take a look at that 1338 is the level of the lowest I think that we've seen today. We haven't seen that for a very very long time. So with a high of 3530 this week this year and now all of a sudden here

    23. we are in the 13s. I don't think people would have been thinking that we were going to get to this level right now, but we're getting closer to those 13s again.

    24. >> And the VXN Pete broke 20 today. It's just over 20 at mid session. It's like 2030, but it got down to like 1987.

    25. That's the NASDAQ measure of movement, if you will, folks. Some want to call it fear. It ain't fear. It's how much do you think the market's going to move up and down? And uh uh you divide that out by 256 which is presently the number of approximate trading days in the year and

    26. you get to a number and as you saw there it is just sliding down and we don't have forced liquidations in Korea to deal with this month. We have dealt with them last month. We haven't had to deal with them this month. And again, I think

    27. uh Michael Bur Pete, he's just hoping he doesn't hear a knock on his door from Ken Griffin because Ken is kind of like, you know, the grim reaper. If Ken shows up at your door with his team and says, "So, uh, what do you need to liquidate today?" Uh, [laughter] bunch of shorts.

    28. >> That's outstanding.

    29. >> All right, let's hit uh some uh prediction markets, Pete. And here's a happy camper. That happy camper is none other than uh uh Calvin Harris. And the reason I have Calvin Harris there, Pete,

    30. is he's uh about a 49% pick on Cali to uh release a new album this year. Uh [laughter] Bryson Tiller, never heard of him, 44% chance. Pink Panthers,

    31. 42% chance. Pete, never heard of any of those last two. Kelvin Harris, yeah, big DJ, one of the biggest on the planet, but those other two, not so much. I'm with you, John. I actually was just about to say, I have no idea who these people are. I [laughter] mean,

    32. but you know what? It's it's interesting. And I think if nothing else, John, it just does show us that whether it's the poly markets, couchy markets, whatever it is, I mean, there are things that people can literally bet on on a day in and dayout basis that would probably surprise us still. No matter how long we look at it, there's

    33. going to be surprises that pop up of what you really can bet on. It's just amazing.

    34. >> Yep. uh these prediction markets are uh among the most popular markets and stock markets better pay attention and to a certain extent they have Pete because the New York Stock Exchange I think bought into poly market when it was two

    35. billion valuation um now it's I believe 15 billion valuation in a year so 7x your money in a year that's a pretty good year >> all right uh let's tell you one last time for the speak about CIRCA, what's

    36. happening behind me there on the screen.

    37. Circa is of course uh where we're going to do Rebel Con 2026 and a bunch of great speakers are going to be there, folks. Entrepreneurs, we're hoping to be able to announce uh Dana White. Uh we have not confirmed Mr.

    38. White yet, but he lives out there. He is, of course, one of the people that made the UFC happen and he uh brought Pete and I out there to see Power Slap.

    39. There's a few people I'd like to see Power Slap, but that's an actual competition, folks. And uh this is yet another of Dana White's uh betting on himself and his vision for what people want as far as competition and sports.

    40. And we're going to have uh somebody like Dana White, who again we hope to announce him. You see on that screen a guy you might not recognize. Happens to be a billionaire um auto parts manufacturer that built Circa Casino in Vegas with his brother. That would be Derek Stevens and Greg Stevens. And

    41. we've got so many great entrepreneurs who are going to be there. It's not um a boot camp, folks. There will be some of that for our VIPs that want it, but other than that, it's going to be about inspiring, about giving you guys

    42. direction on quantum, on data centers, on power, um, on pre-market IPOs and things like that. I mean, a fabulous time. And you save 200 bucks if you buy that ticket before September 10th. So, by all means, scan that little QR code.

    43. That one right there. scan the QR code and uh we will see you in Vegas October 19th if you want to watch Monday Night Football in the pool with us at Circa where they have the world's largest outdoor book or uh join us in the uh

    44. wonderful comfort of Circa Casino's event space on the 20th and 21st of October. Gonna be fabulous, Pete.

    45. >> Yeah, agreed.

    46. >> All right. Well, let's dive into um Nvidia because they did crush on earnings and guidance. This thing is getting close, Pete, to where they're going to declare half a trillion dollars a year in revenue.

    47. >> I mean, an amazing feat. Uh and as we said, we had 90,000 call options trade just two days ago.

    48. Two days before the earnings came out, somebody jumps in and says, "You know what? 90,000, that's 9 million shares. 9 million shares of a $230 stock that happens to be about uh $2 billion that they could control with that trade. It

    49. expires tomorrow." So, this was a short-term trade clearly just made for this earnings report. And the people that followed it, I think, did rather well, Pete. And uh then they go in and they buy hugging face for 12.9 billion

    50. dollars as well just because Jensen Wong could. He says, "Yep, I'm buying the GitHub of AI apps." It is amazing, John. And I'll tell you what, um they crushed it. They absolutely crushed it. We probably were expecting that, but you just don't know.

    51. You don't always know what people are thinking. But when you see 90,000 options trading um like we did and by the way that was just that initial trade there was another 30,000 trading options as well. So the the grand total of about 120,000. So you look at that you know the open interest

    52. you get a little bit of an idea of just how big this really was and Nvidia they beat on the top they beat on the bottom that you know the there's a lot of bears out there. John was just talking about that earlier, but um it's amazing. And then when you look at the forecast that they gave, the forecast was absolutely just outrageous as well. I mean 70%

    53. revenue growth by 2028. And they're talking about it maybe before was closer to 45%.

    54. Um Nvidia did what they needed to do.

    55. Jensen Wong did what he needed to do.

    56. And it was really really about as impressive a quarter as it as you could possibly get.

    57. >> Yeah. And keep in mind folks, they have 24 billion shares outstanding. 24 billion with a B. Um, this is such a bamoth and such a uh fabulous earnings report. It's uh it's it's hard to

    58. exaggerate that, Pete, to overstate it.

    59. Um, let's talk about Crowd Strike because they gapped higher from the 189 close to about 209 in the after hours and it's still above the 50-day moving average. Pete, a bunch of analysts started raising um their targets. Now,

    60. you know, they raised them from like 235 to 250. So, it's not an explosive, but it's a very steady, you know, stair step, stair step, stair step for crowd strike. And I I think this one merits a little attention for anybody that wants to follow into data centers and so

    61. forth. This is one of those plays where you want to know what is happening with Crowd Strike and uh their revenue, their sales >> and the demand for for uh cyber security, John, any security out there uh is just absolutely amazing. And you know, you talked about a lot of these various um analysts that are changing

    62. things and and shifting things even higher. It's just impressive where they're going. I mean, I think some of the top ones were going to 250 bucks a share, John. So, those are pretty healthy uh moves to the upside still.

    63. And, you know, you look at the fullear revenue guides that they put up there. I mean, everything that you would wanted out of them, um they did. They executed.

    64. They did it with perfection. It's why the stock's up 15% today, which makes a lot of sense because, you know, you look at this and you look at another beat for QT Q2. Um, this one just joins the crowd, John. And not just beat, I guess I could say these guys really handle things in an even more aggressive way. I

    65. mean, they they cracked this thing. They crushed this thing. And that's why these stocks, I mean, monstrous stocks like Nvidia and now Crowd Strike are making the kind of moves that they're making when a lot of people were naysayers like you were saying, and I think that's part of this move as well, John, is maybe there's some folks out there that were

    66. trying to short it. Were they? Uh, if so, not feeling too good today.

    67. >> Yeah. Well, I I think likewise, Pete, CRM, Salesforce, your buddy Benny off.

    68. Um Pete's been out there uh with uh Benny off at some events like Lyme uh aid and things like that where you guys are out there doing God's work trying to get people uh uh that have Lyme disease uh treated and so forth. And Ben Off's

    69. been a huge supporter I think for that.

    70. But here you've got Salesforce. They began the year close to 270. They sold all the way off into the 150s before seeing this big jump back up. They're not quite to unchanged on the year, Pete, but one more day like today and they'd be up on the year instead of uh

    71. you know at the bottom. They AI was a challenge for them. There's no doubt about that. Um but he's alleviated a lot of his uh the concerns that again people like uh Mr. Bur that we're talking about a SAS apocalypse in other words software

    72. as a service and so forth that we're saying ah no one's going to do that anymore really last I checked these guys are doing okay and for people that shorted them they're not doing so good here Pete >> and another one John where the price targets um the upgrades are out there the analysts are on top of this whole

    73. thing and the earnings report strong I mean really really strong I mean $5.90 cents. When you're looking for $327, I would say that's strong. They beat on the revenue as well, I'd say that's impressive. And, you know, when you're looking at a stock that's 206 that got all the way up to 230 today, I would say

    74. that they uh there are a lot of people out there that were paused. They were waiting and and when they see some of these numbers that are put up, they're like, you know what, I got to be a part of this. And it's amazing. This is a stock that's up 18% today. So, uh, again, we're looking at Nvidia, we're looking at CrowdStrike, and now we're looking at Salesforce. We got one more

    75. of them, John, that, uh, looks like it might be able to deliver just as good as as the first three.

    76. >> Yeah. Well, okay da.

    77. Um, this one, Pete, just explodes to the upside. Um, again, like you said, uh, it was 134, it gapped from there up to 16 something. Now it hit a new 52- week high of 17141

    78. right now. And this is a solid beat for the AI agent commentary. Um and again one more um piece of the puzzle that a lot of people wanted to shoot against just weeks ago, especially in July when all those accounts were being liquidated

    79. in Korea. Um a lot of people were saying, "See, see all of that stuff?

    80. it's all overbought. Uh there might have been some leveraged players in Korea and perhaps even in the United States. Um think of uh for instance uh you know again how Ken Griffith was able to play that um when Leopold went down. But man this is uh a very strong report I'd say

    81. Pete.

    82. >> Yeah I mean it's just amazing John. I mean, we did number one, we did number two, number three, and now here we are at number four and and Octa with cyber security, the the the revenue impressive, the earnings beat, impressive. Um, analysts are really active in this one as well. They're all want they don't want to get caught um in a bad spot when this thing is going to

    83. be moving to the upside. And when I say the upside, it's already up 20% today.

    84. So, they've identified all this the security and the demand that people have. Um, you look at the full year guidance, impressive. You look at the the robust amount on the on the outlook that they're putting out there. This is just another one of them that delivered.

    85. And and you know what? This is a great example of this this quarter's um production has been unbelievable, John.

    86. I mean, we're well over now that 80% level of of of beats in terms of the earnings itself and then the revenue up about very close to 80%. I mean, across the board, this has been a really, really incredible quarter once again.

    87. >> Yeah, it has been. And uh boy, uh again, average [snorts] volume in here, folks, is 3 million shares. It's traded more than double that by midsession today.

    88. So, a lot of squeezing going on in a lot of these stocks, Pete.

    89. >> Yeah.

    90. >> All right. Uh let's dive into a little video. It's that time of the show where we show you guys an interesting sports video that has uh sort of popped up on Pete's feed or mine. And uh you know, there are some weird things going on here, Pete. With the eligibility of

    91. players who may have uh uh signed up for the draft, which in the past has always meant done, you're done.

    92. >> Yeah.

    93. >> You're not coming back. Um, and the rules are constantly being changed, I guess, Pete. Just like you used to have four years to play, now it's five years to play five years, starting when you're 19 years old. Yeah. Yeah. Well, that was the COVID thing. Now it's five out of five, I guess. But let's give this a

    94. look and listen because you'll be hearing about this one a lot.

    95. >> 10 in the SEC are about to get sued into oblivion and they probably just handed these lawyers the easiest case of their career, man. So, yesterday afternoon, after I already made my video, of course, the Big 10 in the SEC voted unanimously to ban any player who's been in the pros to coming back to college sports. This is anyone who's been on a pro roster or signed a pro contract.

    96. Again, they voted unanimously. Not one single person opposed this rule that they tried to enact. Now, the Big 10's punishment. If you break this rule, the head coach sits for half of the season and you get fined 20% of your football budget, which if you know anything about college football right now, that is a ton of money. And for the SEC's punishment, they just handed Greg Seni

    97. [laughter] a blank check to find these schools who violate this rule whatever the hell he wants. But the problem is a Louisiana judge already put in a court order saying that Dayquin Wright and Xavian Harris can play college football this year. And the SEC and the Big 10 were just like no, we're [laughter] not going to let it happen. So if you know

    98. anything about antitrust law, this is two competitors agreeing on a deal behind closed doors. That's that's what the lawyers are looking for. That is the pretty much definition of antitrust.

    99. >> And of course, Keifin is pissed being like, "Well, you guys already honored Pavia's court order. You already honored Chamblas' court order, so why are you just ignoring this one? You can't just pick the Jews there, buddy." And I think it's pretty safe to say that we'll have a lawsuit against the Big 10 in the SEC in about um four hours. But if you want to see how this turns out, make sure you're following it. Also, let me know your opinion on this because this is

    100. getting crazy. This is getting >> He is right, Pete.

    101. >> He is right. I mean, if if a judge has made this ruling, I'm not saying that's the final thing because we have all seen rulings made by judges at lower courts that get taken to a higher court and a higher court. But if you're then, again,

    102. as he says, behind closed doors trying to um uh basically do something that may very well fall into the antirust guidelines that are out there. Um, I don't think the Big 10 and the SEC considered this. I don't know if they

    103. had their lawyers in the room with them when they did this, Pete, but I'm with them. I think somebody files a lawsuit like that, probably somebody representing those two players in particular, and then we'll see what happens.

    104. >> Yeah, it's Well, you know what? It's it's been a mess for a while. We talk about NIL money. We talk about all this other stuff. I mean it's it is a changing game and um you know whether it's five years, six years, seven years because of co and all these other things. I mean you know it's it is a different NCAA than than you and I were

    105. used to. [laughter] There's no doubt about that. John, here's something that we just got to talk about.

    106. >> The Pro Bowl is the Pro Bowl and has it been the stupidest damn thing? I mean exactly. I mean, I I look at this thing, by the way, 88 players get named to it.

    107. Often times, most of those guys don't even want, you know, don't participate.

    108. And so, you start seeing other guys get in there. And you and I were talking about Shador Sanders was a quarterback at a Pro Bowl. I mean, [laughter] what >> he can't break into the worst quarterbacking situation in football, Cleveland Browns. You can't break into that. But he's your representative at

    109. the Pro Bowl.

    110. >> It's a It's unbelievable. It really is.

    111. You know what ruined it? I'll I'll give you the perfect answer for why why it got ruined. It used to be a game that followed everything else. And not only that, John, but it was placed in Hawaii.

    112. You and I both know that because we were there for a lot of those games and saw the players walking around Joe Montana strolling down the field, you know, down the sand, I should say, and stuff like that. So it and it was fun, right? It was and it was it was games. They were real games. Um but guys were a little bit cautious. No one wants to hurt

    113. another guy. I mean, and all the rest of that kind of thing. So it was fun. It was competitive. And then they lost all of it. And then they thought the the big answer was going to be, well, let's just bring it around. Let's bring it to Orlando. Let's bring it to here. Let's bring it to there. None of that ever worked. and they just it it's this is a

    114. godsend because they they finally stepped up and said, "Okay, no more of this. We're just going to celebrate the fact that you made the allpro team." And you know what? Um it's amazing that it's taken this long though because this has been going on for a really really long time and it's it's been it's been

    115. absolutely unwatchable.

    116. What do you Yeah. All right. Well, it turns out folks that Pete and I knew a guy named Max Winter. Now, Max Winter um was a partial owner along with Bernie Ritter and some other folks of the Minnesota Vikings. And that team has

    117. sold more than probably any other team, Pete. I mean, they sold it. That guy out of what was it? Uh El Paso or something?

    118. a car dealer out of El Paso bought it and so forth and so on. Tom Clancy tried to buy it, but then it turned out that he may have hidden some of his money from his wife who was divorcing him. Um, and she said, "Oh, you have enough money to buy that, do you?" Well, and so he had to back out of it. Now the wolves

    119. own it.

    120. >> Anyway, this is not about the Vikings, but it is about a really smart guy named Max Winter who loved vacationing in Hawaii. And what did Max do? He said, "I bet the players would love to come to Hawaii." >> So if we do, because even back then, not as many players wanted to go to the Pro Bowl. They were like, "I don't know, you

    121. know, this that players weren't making as much money um as they are now. That's clear." But they he said if we do the game in Hawaii and we fly them and their families >> to Hawaii, you know, we'll give them four tickets or whatever um to come to Hawaii for a week, have a great time. Um

    122. you know, the game's going to be what it is. It's going to be lopsided. It's probably going to be 50 to 52 or whatever. That's okay.

    123. >> But there's no blitzing. There's no this. There's no that. And it's going to be you get to see these physical specimens um and they get to experience something pretty fun and a stadium full of a crowd that's really excited to see them. People would travel for that game.

    124. >> Then all of a sudden you say, "Well, let's do it in Orlando." [laughter] >> You know, it's not the same as giving a guy four tickets for a trip to Hawaii.

    125. Yeah. Um, I'm not saying that if they did that again, Pete, that every guy who's selected to the Pro Bowl would show up, but a lot more of them would then show up for this crap.

    126. >> Yeah.

    127. >> So, is it dead? Maybe. Um, it was a great way for them to be ambassadors and to spread the NFL. Um, if they ever want to do it right again, they might bring that back, but to do it as a touch football game or a flag football game with these players makes no sense. Makes

    128. no sense.

    129. >> Yeah, I don't disagree with you. I mean, everything you said is exactly right.

    130. And I forgot I had forgotten till you brought it up about Max Winter being pretty brilliant on how he decided to move this thing. and because it had been going on since 1938, so it's not like they always went to Hawaii, but boy, what a great trip to Hawaii for for those players, John. And I ran into a lot of those guys when I was there and

    131. uh Tony John and all sorts of different guys. I mean, really, really cool. All right, sticking with football, John, college football. What schools uh right now would you say are the most underrated uh coming into this year? And I I got a pretty decent list. It doesn't mean they're not not in the top 20 or

    132. something like that, but some of these clubs look like they they really have an opportunity to get pretty far, maybe even in the playoffs, John. So, here's what I'm going to throw out to you. BYU, they've got a great head coach. This guy has done unbelievable work out there.

    133. Um, they had two losses last year. Two losses to Texas Tech. One during the season, one later on. Um, they were 12- two. Pretty damn good football team, right? They've got a lot of pieces to the puzzle that they need.

    134. >> Um, and I think a lot of the time I think BYU kind of gets looked over. So I think that one's overrated or underrated rather. I think Michigan's underrated.

    135. People are pretty down on Michigan right now because I think of all for all the right reasons why John Snicky snickering as a matter of fact. But you know last year they were nine and three. It's not like these guys were terrible. you know, they they lose, you know, some games here and there, but with the new new head coach there, Willingham, I think um

    136. I think these guys are in position to be pretty damn good. And I think he's not a guy who's going to go somewhere and just fall on his face. So, they were nine and three last year. He's going to be 10 and two or better this year. They're going to the playoff and I don't know how deep they'll go, but they got a damn good quarterback as well, John. And I'll

    137. throw in SMU. And I'll throw in Auburn as two other schools where really good schools really playing good football, ACC, you know, football, SEC football. I think when you've got returning quarterbacks who've been there two and three years, which is something that used to happen a lot. It doesn't happen

    138. anymore, but when it does, it's pretty interesting because I think that gives them a good shot. Those are my four. You You got somebody you'd like to slip in there? I will, Pete. Um, I'll slip in there. North Dakota State, South Dakota State. I love that

    139. >> because when you look at the players that come out and play in the pros, um sort of like that kid from Minnesota Morehead, Pete, um when you're seeing these guys come out and they haven't been playing against uh the highest

    140. level of D1 players, but they're playing with a bunch of D1 talent because both those schools, North and South Dakota State, um do have that kind of level of talent. Um, could they play a full uh uh

    141. season uh of, you know, a Big 10 schedule? Probably not because they're not, the depth isn't there in my opinion. Yeah.

    142. >> Um, but they've got a bunch of great players and they develop them really well. Um, I'd say your old school, the University of Minnesota puts out great players. Yeah.

    143. >> And I know your question isn't who puts out great players, but when you look around and you see who's underrated, >> University of Minnesota is underrated. I mean, you've told me, and I agree with this, that number one, they've got a huge offensive line. um if they ever get their stuff together, they could

    144. basically if Harbaugh was the coach there, Pete, those guys could compete for the Big 10 because he would just run double tight end and just smash them.

    145. [laughter] And by the way, they have a quarterback who might be within the top three or four quarterbacks coming out this year.

    146. Um, so you could just run double tight end smashmouth football and then have him, you know, drop back and throw a drop a few dimes as well. So I'd say that and then that edge rusher that Minnesota has.

    147. >> So they've got at least two or three guys that could go in the first two rounds of the next draft, Pete. So all you got to do is catch a little lightning in a bottle. You don't have to be all the way to a Indiana breakout year, but you could see, you know,

    148. getting through it and getting into a nice bull situation if they get the right breaks. And I'd say, again, if you get a chance to watch North Dakota or South Dakota State, either one of those two state schools, um, they're awesome.

    149. I love watching those guys. when I see him on uh TV, PETA, I'll always put on that game rather than, you know, the heavy commercial load of uh you know, SEC or whatever that we might have. If it's not the team I want to watch, I'd rather see those guys.

    150. >> Yeah. Yeah. I I like that you pull that out. I I didn't expect that one, but um Yeah. Do they play great football? They do. Um, I'd even slip in Montana State on that because that's one of those other schools where, you know, they're part of that whole D1, but they're they they all they do is play great football and put guys into the NFL. I mean,

    151. they're doing something right. And you look at South Dakota State, you're looking at a tight end university. They put in tight ends all over the rest of the NFL and offensive linemen.

    152. Occasionally some running backs as well.

    153. So, and you know, we're going to see some quarterbacks coming out of North Dakota State, more of them, because they are so well coached that these guys that want to play, but they didn't get the offer to go to Minnesota or Wisconsin or Nebraska or wherever it might be. Um, they end up at places like North Dakota State [music] and they end up doing

    154. very, very well. So, um, I think it's going to be really interesting into the future because they're just getting at a bigger and higher level all the time.

    155. So, I think that was that was great. I I I'll tell you what, I still look at Michigan, John, and I'm like, these guys have players. They got a quarterback who was the number one recruit in the entire country uh when they picked him up. And I think they really got an upgrade on

    156. coaching. I mean, in a big way. Um Willingham is just one of those guys who he can he can make a team a heck of a lot better in a very short period of time. So, I'm looking forward to watching what Michigan's got this year because with him as the coach, I think things are going to be a lot different.

    157. And nine and three was good, they're going to be better than nine and three.

    158. >> Yep. I would agree. I I would say that uh that team, although they might get some penalties, who knows? I know there's investigations ongoing. That's not new news. Um, but they could have

    159. some penalties that could keep them out uh of some of the, you know, CFB but college football playoffs. I'm sorry, CFP.

    160. Um, but I think they are a good team, Pete. No doubt about it.

    161. >> Yeah.

    162. >> All right. Well, we appreciate all of you guys joining us. Keep in mind that we do the show Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, and next week is a holiday shortened week. uh sort of.

    163. And the reason I say sort of is because we trade all five days next week and we'll have the show Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday next week. But the uh uh Labor Day, people will start dialing in that time decay for Labor Day

    164. on Thursday evening next week. And by midday Friday, it'll be done. Um, so, uh, u, I'd say, uh, just be aware of that, folks, in case you're trading weekly options. All right. Well, Pete, until Monday next week, uh, we're going to be back at, uh, the usual time, I guess.

    165. >> 1 PM Eastern time, John. We're going to be here. Giddy up.

    166. >> See you then.

    167. Hey.
