Welcome back to the Rebels Edge. Today we're going to take a look at the NFL injury report and happily I think report back to you that season ending injuries are not season ending after all. And then we'll take a look at some stocks as
well as prediction markets and the VIX on today's Rebels Edge.
[music] >> [music] >> Bang.
>> Bang. Here we go again, John.
>> There you go. Uh, and Pete, we've got macro as always on the top of the show.
And, uh, boy, is crypto winter over, Pete? I mean, after a big jump up to whatever 88,000, a lot of people were thinking crypto winter might be over, even though it eased back a little bit today, >> uh, they were still pretty all bulled up yesterday. And, uh, I think most of them
are still pretty bulled up today. Yeah, it's impressive to see um you know the movement that we have seen in the last few trading sessions where we've just gone up up up and yeah 86,000 88,000 wherever it is at the moment or whatever. I mean it's it says that risk is on. That's that's that's the way I
view it. It says people are willing to take that risk once again. I'm still looking from a macro perspective, John, looking at at the price of oil. Uh crude's down over 14% over the last week. um down 2% or thereabouts today.
So, you know, we'll we'll see how things play out with that, you know, whether it's whatever it might be. But I will say this, those airlines, um, these guys are are very very crafty and they it's it's been really interesting to see these guys that are coming in and buying calls in many of those stocks because as
they start to see WTI come down um, and the energy costs may be coming down for them. It looks like, you know, somebody somebody has a pretty good sniffer out there, whether it's for American or JetBlue or whatever. Um, that maybe we were going to get a pullback from from crude oil.
>> Yeah. Well, let's hope we continue to see that, Pete.
>> Yeah.
>> And let's hope we continue to see the volatility index trade lower, lower, and lower.
>> Um, right now, uh, what is it? 1438 for the VIX, Pete. Down another 3% today.
It's not at yesterday's lows yet, but it's certainly uh moving to the downside.
>> It is. It is. And that's that and I grant you that is part of the S&P. I mean, that's where they they factor the the numbers in and so forth. But you look over at the Dow and you see it down a half a percent. The S&P's basically flat. Um NASDAQ's up still, but but it it was up a lot higher and it's been slowly kind of melting down a little
bit. Um just interesting to see, John.
It's been at a pretty tight range and yeah, it's you know is it something that you know when we hit 18 I find it really curious because we hit eight 18 on the VIX it does not last at all. It immediately pulls right back down whether it's the next day or whatever and just has a hard time sustaining up there. And you know you and I have seen
some days where it's been fairly negative on the S&P and we still see where the the VIX is where it's somewhere well off of that 18. So interesting to see that. Um, I don't know to to to see the way the VIX is is is trading right now at the lows of the
day so far, give or take at 1430. U, it's down nearly 4%, John. So, that's that's a pretty substantial move.
>> Yeah. Yep. Happy to see it, Pete.
>> Yeah.
>> Well, let's take a look at uh the prediction markets, which have uh I thought this one was interesting. Again, uh I'm not saying in all prediction markets that they're superior to where people are putting real money to work.
They are putting money to work on prediction markets, but the amount of money on this one, Pete, is uh 2 million, 2.2 million, let's call it, have been wagered or traded or bet, however you want to view it. Um that the
S&P will get above 8,000 this year. Um, it is presently at 7758. It was 7770 earlier today. Um, and $2 million, I mean, shoot. Uh, the traders in the S&P
pit probably to a man or woman trade multiples of that every few minutes, [laughter] let alone two million over the course of months and months and months. So, you know, you can pay attention to prediction markets, and I think you're wise to do so, but you're
also wise to listen to what Pete says about the VIX and what real movement is in the market where trillions of dollars are being wagered, if you will, or bet or traded rather than just 2.2 million.
Well, and it's why you and I oftenimes don't listen to a lot of the crap that we hear throughout the day on television when guys are telling us, "Well, you know, they they did this survey." I don't care what 3,000 people say. What I want to see what a couple hundred thousand people, maybe millions of people have decided to do with their
money because that's where the moves are, right? So, it it's interesting, John. I mean, you know, the NASDAQ just hit another new all-time high. A lot of that from Meta, throw in Apple, throw in some Nvidia. I mean, some of these various names. And those are all the names, by the way, that were told by me by many that, oh boy, these things are
they're inflated. They're they're this thing's going to break. Well, I don't know when they expect that, but I would say that right now and as of right now, um, that hasn't happened. Yeah, there's been some pullbacks. No doubt pullbacks, but they're pullbacks. And then all of a sudden, you get that next wave. And I think if you want to look the closest
one that makes the most sense, just watch Meta. When you see the way that thing moves, it really is very telling.
And I'd also say, you know, a name as big as Apple is not another bad one to take a look at, too. But see how they're moving and what the money really looks like because the flows are strong. And I'll tell you, it's uh it's it's interesting to me, John, all the crap that we hear from all these people about this, that, and the other that that's
meaningless. And you know what? this this this one at the 8,000 level like you just said with two million people or two million bucks or whatever it is that's uh who cares. [laughter] >> Yeah, absolutely. Well, and then we'll tell you about something that does matter, folks, which is of course the
Rebel Con >> 2026 out in Las Vegas. Um, we have just added a bunch of women to Rebel Con because people started asking us, Pete, they said, "Well, you say it's a panel.
It's really a mantel." [laughter] >> Which I thought was, you know, kind of catchy. Yeah.
>> Um, but uh Yeah. Well, we're going to have we already now have three women that are going to be part. I'll put it up tomorrow, Pete, >> on the Rebel Con uh board here. But we've got uh a lot of folks that are going to give you great insights into everything from quantum to crowdfunding
to preipo investing through SPVS and things like that. Data centers, um vaults, and if you don't know what a vault is, I'm not talking about a safe in your home. It's an online safe or or onchain safe, if you will. We've got all
this great information coming your way.

>> All right, Pete. Shopify. How about this one? Sh.
They had a nice rally yesterday in Shopify >> and uh the MetaMuse shop pay aentic checkout partnership.
Well, that was kind of interesting. But that wasn't all. That wasn't the whole reason that people went after SHOP in a bullish way, Pete. And today it's up another 7 and a half% to 148 a share.
And by the way, we do have some unusual activity to report as it turns out.
[laughter] Um, it's pretty cool because people were buying. Look at that. Um, just yesterday, it's the 22nd today, folks, of September. Yesterday, the 21st in the morning in the first hour of trade,
stocks 129 bucks. They buy 4.3 million share equivalent by buying 43,000.
December 145 calls they paid 8.95. Well, they already traded to 1997 today. So, you doubled your money. If you paid attention, you doubled your money. So, how many times have you guys bought a option, bought a stock, bought a future,
and not doubled your money?
>> It's probably a lot more of those than times when you've doubled your money.
But we do this every single day. Now, some of them double, others you pay $8 and we say, "Okay, it ain't working.
Let's get out at $850 because we paid $8.90 or whatever." As long as you're disciplined, you can stay at the tables a long time. Right, Pete?
>> Absolutely, John. Up, you know, give or take what, 8% today, maybe. Oh, no, it's a little more than that. Closer to nine or 10% as I take a little glance over here. You know, it's interesting too, John, because even while this stock is going higher, um it's interesting to see that actually the PE, the forward PE is
kind of eased back a little bit. It was, you know, it's cooling up from give or take about 100 and and now looking a little bit closer to 57 something like that. So it's really um even with this move to the upside because of what this deal and you know Meta Muse and all the things that you just talked about John
uh pretty impressive yesterday 138 today it's right around it's got as high as 150 just a little bit above 150 so there is something definitely driving this obviously AI is is a big deal and people talk about this and how it's helps uh complete the purchases and so forth and all the rest of the things the AI drive
that that happens when you're checking out. All of that is is something that Shopify is a great example of a company that they see some of the positives of that and I think that's what we're seeing right now reflected by what we're seeing with the stock and the stock price yesterday and today. Really, really impressive to see how strong this
thing looks right now. And like I say, it's actually a little bit less volatile when it when it comes down to things.
And that PE has come in quite a bit.
Well, and I'll give credit where credit's due, Pete. This is a strong Canadian company.
>> Yeah.
>> Um, you know, uh, I might give Canada crap a lot. I think most of it is deserved, but I'll also give them credit. They do have some companies that are really doing a great job. Shopify is right there at the top of that list for me anyway, Pete. There are natural
resource companies. Most of those are over in Alberta. This is an Ottawa based company that really has done just a spectacular job being in somewhat the same space as Amazon. You know, they bring people in, they let people sell through their platform just like Amazon.
Um, and they've built a great business over the years. So, um, again, tip of the hat to Shopify and, uh, those folks that work there.
>> Yeah.
>> All right, Pete. NBIS.
So, this one's consolidating and it was consolidating around 232 bucks a share.
Now, um I thought that it was pretty interesting that the stock zoomed all the way up to 246 in the pre-market, held it for a little bit, like a hot second, and then bled
all the way back down. But it's still up about almost $4 on the day, trading 236.
But to bleed off from 246 to 236 tells you a lot of people were willing to take profits on this name. It's a big data center and intelligence um technology play, but uh I was kind of surprised to see how fast it sold off. Pete, >> yeah, I mean this thing had a pretty
nice pop, John. I mean it's a this is let's be honest, this is a high volatility stock. It's got an incredible 52- week range from 73 to 300. So yeah, this thing can get all over the place and and then have a day like today where it jumps up, then it kind of eases back.
The implied volatility of the options that are in here are anywhere between 80 and 100 as well. So this is not for the the folks that are are are nervous about things and how how they move and how fast they can move because this is one of those that can move very very rapidly because of that high volatility and the
implied volatility of the options.
There's no doubt about that. Uh it it's interesting, John. This in infrastructure of AI, we talk about it all the time, the momentum that's still there. And this is a stock I'm looking at it right now. It's it was up all the way up to 246 and now it's trading at 236. So, it's pulled back like you were just mentioning as well, but I'll tell
you, um I think it's I think this is one of those names that you always want to have on your list, and this is one where we if we do see unusual option activity coming into it, we usually do react. So, we're just waiting at this point in time and when we see it, we'll pounce. But, uh, Shopify gave us plenty of chances
with some of that volat the the the options that they were buying, John, especially that size one that you pointed out for today.
>> Well, how about this one, Pete? Viking Therapeutics. It's a frequent flyer on our unusual activity reports and on Rebel's Edge. We've talked about this one a lot. VKTX.
Well, this one hasn't given back hardly a penny. It just is climbing and climbing and climbing, Pete. It's up 26%.
Um, and it basically posted positive um maintenance study results. They compared this to a placebo adjusted weight loss and uh apparently it did much better than expected and that's why you're
getting that 26% jump. Shoot, it's up $10 from the middle of June lows, Pete, to today's pop. And you know, the the fact that uh people's guts tolerate this, by that I mean, you know, some
people get sick from some of these GLP1s and things like that. But, um, this one apparently the tolerability is very good. And so obviously the the better that is, the better chance people will stay on it and lose their desired amount of weight and all that kind of stuff.
This is an unusual activity one too, Pete. Why don't you tell people about Boy, you missed this one, you missed a lot.
>> Yeah, you did. I mean, >> $30 stock. Now it's in the 40s.
>> Yeah, it hit it hit above 41 and change, as a matter of fact. And so here we're looking at these these 30 strikes. Well, those are deep into the money. So just on on sheer numbers, this is at least 11 bucks. So the $3 to 11 bucks. It's more than that because you've got some time, but I'm just trying to make it as
simplistic as we can. So yeah, this is unusual option activity in there. 6,000 of those things were bought. And boy, what the the timing of this one absolutely extraordinary, John. I mean, you can't make it up. But you know, like you were talking about less frequent dosing. That's something that people are
always very happy about. um oral maintenance dosing is a possibility as well. Some people are not great with you know injections and so forth. So they're they they've really really covered all the bases and you know weight loss the study results are really really impressive. The losses 22% in week 33.
Uh so there's a there's a lot of things about this that people are very excited about because there's all kind there's competition in this world of course and we all know that whether it's uh the the the biggest of the big or some of the smaller there is competition here but I think uh what Viking Therapeutic is telling us is hey they're at the next
level and people are very very happy about what this maintenance really looks like as they're losing weight and they're not they're not having some of the issues with that weight loss that some of the others are having.
>> Well, um I like this one a lot, Pete, and I think we were both on the same page and certainly these guys know a lot about competition because on holdings um it's a Swiss company. We've talked about Federer and how he um decided he wanted
to get involved and get an ownership stake and all that kind of stuff. N O N.
Well, I remember when you and I covered this one in September, Pete, when it crashed down to uh uh maybe 26 or so, but here it is, not even two weeks later, you know, just a little over a week later. And it's seeing a 12% jump
in just one session. And uh the reason for that is their investor day. They announced a billion dollar buyback through 2029.
And uh I think a lot of folks uh are probably on this one because they love the product, but they also love the way these guys um really put their money where their mouth is or their franks or Swiss Franks where their mouth is, Pete, because this one's doing pretty well on
this comeback. This is a major move and this one also had unusual option act activity as well. Um and they it literally just ripped to the upside, John. I mean, you can see see it right there reflected by that that chart, which is amazing. But, you know, they they said so many positive things that
uh they can't help but be up 10, 11, 12%, whatever it might be. You know, the the investor day that you were talking about and they were talking about u expanding the football uh which is soccer for us. Uh the footwear and the appro the the apparel and all the rest of it. Um really pretty amazing. The gross margins, they're talking about
65%. That seems like a pretty decent number to me. Um, and you know what?
They raised the average price uh for this thing from 145 to 270. So, there's there's just a lot of different things about this investor day that they brought up and they talked about and really got this stock. I mean, people people went pretty crazy on this one for all the right reasons. So, that unusual option activity was great. That was
something that, you know, you you never know what's going to be the catalyst, but in this case, that certainly was the catalyst. By the way, John, they project their sales at 6.5 or excuse me, 6.8 billion for 2029. Now, that's pretty far out there, but nonetheless, those are big numbers. And and the fact that
they're talking about a billion dollar buyback that'll be bought back by 2029, that they seem to have hit just about everything that you would have wanted if you had either stock or options in this in this particular name.
>> Yep. It's been a uh a nice recovery, Pete. and a hold above this level above 29 or 30. Um that's uh means they could see a run back towards 50 where they came from.
>> All right. Well, um as always, we like uh letting you guys know a little bit about sports um at this part of the show. And um for a for a change, we actually had some good news, Pete, because Caleb Williams um apparently was uh you know, able to give the thumbs up
um as he was leaving the stadium. And despite the pain, now they say the MRI, his hand wasn't torn through his hamstring, right?
>> So that is pretty damn key. And that's why he's uh there in the Trump pose.
>> He looks like Trump. [laughter] >> Yeah. which was iconic.
But um yeah, love that. But uh now let's take a look at Darian Mensah, Pete, and see uh was he really worth the 6 and a half mil that Miami paid him?
>> Yeah.
>> Does anyone realize the domination we witnessed last night? This man posted an 88% completion rate on 34 passes. This is the highest paid NIL athlete in the country. Do you guys know who this is?
63 205 pound Darien Mensah. Miami had to pay him $6.5 million to come play for them. And on his first 23 passes last night, there wasn't one incompletion, 200 yards in three.
>> That's amazing. Isn't it amazing? I mean, this man's odds to win the Heisman doubled on Cali. And by the way, if you want to stay up college football, [laughter] make sure you're following.
This dude's NIL deal is insane. Miami is providing him with country club. guys are making his sister [laughter] at Miami and now in his first three games for them he has a 90% completion rate has thrown for nearly 900 yards and 11 touchdowns there's a reason he is the heavy favorite did I see zero
interceptions on >> quarterback [laughter] is playing as good as him just maybe he was worth the $6.5 million in the end >> Miami is doing the right thing with free agency [laughter] >> oh yeah well and Pete they gave his sister a full ride. Uh she was there.
She was going to be going to Duke just like he was.
>> Um he actually of course played at Duke last year, but um they were saying, "Okay, well, what'll it take to seal this deal?" Well, apparently getting his sister an NIL deal down in Miami was what it took. [laughter] >> God, it's unbelievable. It really college football is is amazing and it's
it's changing. I don't know if it's for the better or not, but it's certainly, you know, that that guy, I mean, under the circumstances of where we are in college football and with all the NIL and all that, John, and of course, uh, being able to go and go into the portal and all these kind of things. I mean, absolutely amazing. And that kid, and
you've been all over this one because when a lot of other people were talking about other schools, hey, these guys are great, these guys are great. You keep saying, hey, this damn Miami team's pretty freaking good. And I I totally agree with you. Now you start getting into the meat of the schedules now. I mean, the first two or three weeks
oftentimes you're not playing, you know, the most uh incredible schools that you're going to be having to to face.
But, um, you know, it makes it pretty interesting, too. And we had some of that last week. Why don't we start with this one, John? I I think there's a couple of games this weekend that are going to be phenomenal. One of them is the Texas Tennessee game. And a lot of people have kind of forgotten about Tennessee, right? But the reality is Tennessee's got this quarterback Fasin
Brandon, six touchdowns, zero interceptions. I like what the kids able to do. Have they gone against some of the biggest, most wanted schools?
Absolutely not. But they're doing everything that they need to do to make themselves uh be in a position that this is a big game. And I'll tell you what, they've got a quarterback who I think can play at the next level up there with the Arch Mannings of the world who they're playing. That should be pretty fun. That's going to be a big SEC
showdown sort of a game. And you know what? When you look at what they've got down there at Tennessee, Tennessee's always got unbelievable receivers, right? And they've got good really good school for running backs over the years.
They've got a couple of guys right now.
They got two that are averaging about seven yards a carry. They got a receiver that last week was 10 for 189. So basically, call it 19 yards per catch.
That's not so bad. So Tennessee is never a a school that's lacking in in talent.
They always have that talent. It's amazing how good they could be. So that one's that one's won. You've got Old Miss and Florida, John. They're both 3 and 0. We're talking about SEC again with the Texas Texas against Tennessee as well as the Old Miss and Florida.
Tell you what, we now have seen that quarterback against a very, very good football team in LSU. And boy, Shambler, uh, looks pretty good. I would say he's only thrown for just short of a thousand yards in the first three games, John.
So, 110 attempts. You know, how many sacks? Three. [laughter] I'd say they got a pretty good offensive line at Miss. They've got a damn good quarterback at Miss. They can still run the ball pretty well. They've got a pretty big physical defense, I think, as well. So, you know, that's another one
that's pretty amazing as well. Florida's got a running back, John, that is pretty special. This kid, Jaden B., he's got 54 carries, averaging eight and a half yards a carry with eight touchdowns. So, there is going to be a lot of offense.
Florida, Old Miss, you've got also in that Texas 10 Tennessee game. What do you think about those? I'll get one more to you after that, but what do you think about these two games? I I'll tell you what, I think it's some of the best TV watching we've had for college football in a while.
>> Good for Disney, too, because these are ABC games. Pete, [laughter] >> it's true.
>> Let's see. Aaron Pho's the quarterback for the Gator.
>> As you already said, the quarterback, uh, Shamblas, um, is a beast at Old Miss, but, um, you look at, uh, this quarterback, he's not very far behind, Pete, right? um the Florida quarterback and they've played a game or two as
well. He has two interceptions, six TDs, 721 yards. Um he is uh maybe that's not going to be right up there with Shamblas, Trinidad Shamblas in terms of his production, but it's not far off.
Shamblas has one more TD, uh, the same number of interceptions, and completes his passes at a lower rate than the Florida QB, Pete. So, I know it's real easy to get in love with Chamblas here.
Uh, but keep in mind they're playing in the swamp. They're playing in floor in, you know, the Gator backyard.
>> So, that is an aggressive, difficult place to play. I'm not saying it's as tough as, for instance, playing at Bakon Rouge. Yeah. Or some of those spots, Pete. But it's tough to win in the swamp. So, uh, Chamblas, he's I'm sure he'll be up to the task, Pete. And it's
going to be a question of which defense steps up, I think. Yeah.
>> If if one of those two defense steps up, gets a pick or two, gets a strip sack or whatever, that's what the game's going to turn on.
>> Yep. Some of those turnovers are are pretty costly. I got one for you that I'm trying to figure out myself. USC, they're 4-0. They look pretty damn good.
But here's who they've played. San Jose State, they won 4226.
Fresno State 39 zip. Louisiana, not LSU. Louisiana 4930.
Uh Ruters 4235. Now Ruters putting up 35 kind of should sort of be a little bit fearful thing. So, yes, USC is 4-0. Yes, they're ranked and all the rest of it.
They're number 12, but we really don't know much about them until this weekend because they got to go up against Oregon. Now, Oregon's already got a blemish, but Oregon's still a damn good football team, John. They've got strong quarterback play. They've got a lot of different guys. Offensive line is always going to be strong. Defense is always
interesting. They always have a safety or two. Um, I think this one's going to be a really, really interesting game.
and it's at Oregon, I believe. No, actually, no. It's it's at home for them. So, maybe that helps out. But USC, the crowds at USC games are not usually very big. Maybe they'll be big this this goaround. It's a big stadium, right? And it for whatever reason, they just can't
sell it out. But, uh, what do you think about this one? Is USC for real?
>> Well, like you said, Pete, accurately, I think when you look at the competition, you might have a hard time. um coming up with how how real they really are because I mean even Ruters okay so they win 42 to35 um or I'm sorry not not that's not the
score uh that's uh Ruters uh when they're playing a road game and things like that USC gave up 35 points and almost 490 yards to Ruters Pete. Yeah.
>> And Ruters doesn't really light me up very much. they're 0 and3 and they're lucky to be 0 and3.
>> Meanwhile, um there are teams that have played some pretty good teams like you already said, uh when uh uh you know, Miss had to play uh LSU in that revenge game in Oxford. Uh that's a much tougher
game than USC playing Ruters. Yeah.
>> Uh so yeah. Um, and keep in mind also that uh because of what we both talked about with Oklahoma State shutting down Oregon and then Oregon coming back in week two and putting up 84 points on God, how do they even schedule this team? [laughter]
>> Portland State or something like that. I mean, come on. I remember when Mouse Davis was the coach there, Pete, and everybody said, "Oh, you know, it's the gun. you know, he's got this new thing with the gun and all that stuff and it's like, okay, well, that might have been a couple decades ago and I don't think
that team should be playing Oregon or even Oregon State. Um, but they put up 84 on them, Pete. 84 points. So, I think you USC is going to have their hands full. This Oregon team is mean and they're not happy, but USC does have some great athletes. So, I agree. I
think this could be a very interesting game.
>> I got a real quickie for you. In the NFL last night, we got an opportunity to sit and watch the New York New York Football Giants, as everybody likes to say. They were going up against the LA Rams, right? The Rams in the first week, everybody was shocked because they didn't play very well. And it's what and I'm one of one of the guys who was shocked as well because I'm looking at them going, "Hey, man, these guys are
really, really good. Well, they sure looked a lot different than they did in week one." And they put it put it to them. Now, the Jackson Dart was hurt. He was hurt fairly early. So, Jamus had to come in. Jamus Winston had to come in and he did okay at best. Not I don't know that you want to go too much.
Here's QBR was 17, which to give you a little bit of perspective, Stafford's QBR was 77. So, you could sort of see where the issue might be there. And Stafford looked great. 22 of 31. Threw for 320 yards or something like that.
Four touchdowns, one interception. Tell you what, that's the real team with the Rams. I don't know what they, you know, in the first week they they just didn't look like themselves. And I think it was this, John. They didn't understand that when you go to Australia, you don't want to go there two days before you're going to play a game. You go there a week
before you play the game. I learned that in the World Football League. When we go to Europe all the way from Sacramento, let me tell you something. You You're going to get on their time zone quicker.
You're going to do all the things you got to do. The Rams didn't do that. And I think they paid for it with their first loss of the season being their first game. But now all of a sudden they looked pretty damn good. Devonte Adams looked fantastic. By the way, the guy had almost 200 yards and a couple touchdowns. John Matthew Stafford looked like Matthew Stafford. So I think the
Rams are back and I think they still should be the favorite going in towards the the Super Bowl. But time will tell.
But I'll tell you, I I still can't believe that they did that short week because you only get 17 of them, John.
So they kind of gave one away unfortunately for them.
>> Yeah, I agree with everything. They they had sent over Pete. I don't know how many coaches and things like that to test the coaches on how sharp were they after being there for x amount of days and did they need to be there a whole week ahead of time and all that kind of
stuff. And it's like, uh, yeah. Um, you know, anybody, and I'm not an expert in it, Pete, uh, chronobiology, but I did study it. And there's a reason that presidents when they go over to China or Japan, they usually stop in Hawaii. And
it isn't just the the, you know, aloha spirit. It's that way they can catch up a little bit, move those four or five hours into their favor instead of showing up there and having it be on the opposite side of the world and all that kind of stuff. Chronobiology is a real
deal. But anyway, we don't need to talk that much about it, but yeah, they made a big mistake. Anybody that goes overseas, like if somebody went from LA to go play in London and they did like you say uh two days before, I'll take the other team no matter who they are.
You know, it's just the way it is. But anyway, yep. Uh I thought it was uh a good game last night. It seems that Jackson Dart isn't hurt as badly.
>> Yeah, >> he may have dodged a bullet just like Caleb did, Pete. Yeah, >> but they uh Jackson's probably going to be wearing a a brace for a bit >> to protect him, but I don't think he'll be back this next week. Caleb might Caleb might be back Monday next week.
>> Yeah, that's what they were saying. That could be interesting. I'm hoping for it because you know what, that game they unfortunately with without that uh you know, Caleb just he was such a different quarterback than the backup. It it was it's not even close. Not even close. I like the kid. I love the story behind the kid who is the quarterback, but
John, the way his release is with the football is not an NFL quarterback. It just isn't. And it's it's amazing to watch.
>> Yeah. Well, we appreciate all of you guys tuning in and uh let us know about what you think of Pete's assessment of the quarterbacks and uh the stocks. Um we get these cut up and put them out on socials and we appreciate all of your guys comments. So, please let us know what parts you like, what parts you
don't like. I'm pretty sure there's nothing you don't like, but >> [laughter] >> uh uh and we will be back at what time tomorrow, Pete?
>> 1 p.m. Eastern time, John. We're going to be back. We'll be rolling.
>> Bang. See you then, folks.
Heat.
