Someone Just Bet $3 Million on Tomorrow's Fed Decision

    Watch on YouTube

    Summary

The hosts discuss market weakness ahead of the Federal Reserve decision, concerns about slower AI spending, and a reported $3.1 million prediction-market wager on a rate hike. They also review company-specific catalysts, highlighting Skyworks’ potential merger, Enova’s sharp decline, and Dave & Buster’s operating challenges, before turning to football and promoting Rebel Con.

    • Stocks were lower amid AI-spending concerns and elevated Treasury yields, while the VIX remained relatively subdued near 17.7.
    • The hosts reported a roughly $3.1 million Polymarket wager on a 25-basis-point Fed hike, describing market-implied odds around 92–93%.
    • Vera Therapeutics rallied on kidney-disease treatment developments; the discussion highlighted Phase 3 data and its pursuit of full FDA approval.
    • Skyworks rose more than 10% amid discussion of a potential $22 billion merger with Qorvo and approximately $500 million in synergies.
    • Enova fell roughly 25% after withdrawing regulatory applications for its proposed Grasshopper acquisition; the hosts suggested the selloff might be excessive given reaffirmed guidance and a nearly $350 million buyback authorization.
    • The hosts remained negative on Dave & Buster’s, citing losses, a prolonged share-price decline, and competition from at-home entertainment.
    • Zebra Technologies received a favorable mention after recovering from approximately $232 at its June lows to $343.

    1. Welcome back to the Rebels Edge, day one of Fed meetings. We won't hear from Kevin Walsh or any other members of the Fed until day two tomorrow. But what's shaping up is that the slowdown in AI spending that's putting a ripple through the markets, maybe even more than a

    2. ripple. And Pete will be letting us know what he likes and hates on today's Rebels Edge.

    3. [music] >> [music] >> Bang. [laughter]

    4. Well, Pete, uh the uh uh the markets aren't thinking too much of the uh semiconductor selloff, are they?

    5. >> No. And and you know the interesting thing though, John, is the NASDAQ itself is down about 3/4 of a percent. But they're actually doing better today than the Dow. Um, which is a little bit surprising that the Dow is kind of leadership to this move. Uh, just based upon the fact that we know where NASDAQ

    6. really stands and it's a heck of a lot of technology, right? And it's a lot of those names that are somehow involved in that this whole world of AI. So it it is interesting to see that the Dow is down the most of the big three.

    7. >> Yeah. Well, uh let's dive right into macro, Pete, because that's it. It's AI development slowdown. Is it a pause? And if so, for how long? Or is it just chatter? Are they just talking about it?

    8. Um, we're going to see, but uh there are a lot of people with uh uh substantial amounts of money hands out, which means that they're selling.

    9. >> And index futures were lower yesterday.

    10. They're lower again today, Pete.

    11. >> Yeah. Yeah. This is not uh not what we ordered up. We were kind of hoping for a little something a little bit better than this. That's for sure. I think the other thing that it it's it's not lost by you. I know that, John, or or or me.

    12. But I think that there are some people who are just looking at the market uh and and some of the stocks and the reality is how about the 10ear I mean it's the highest level now that it's been since 2007 because we actually are o were over 5%. 5.04 was where we were.

    13. So with that and the idea of what you already said John about tomorrow being Wednesday and we're going to hear what the what the uh uh the Fed's going to be doing what the decision is. I think that the decision's getting pretty clearcut right now if we if we take a look over at that CME uh tool, John, because I

    14. think it's very close to about 92% today. So, essentially, they're saying, "Yep, this is going to happen." And uh you know, we'll see. We'll see what happens after that actually. And the commentary of course from Worsh.

    15. >> Yep. Well, uh what are you seeing as far as volatility? Must be surging at least a little, Pete, if not a lot, huh?

    16. >> Yeah. It it is. But you know what? It's it's ironic that I mean, you look at it and you'd say, "Okay, because early on, you know, it was actually late night, early morning, we were up at 18 on the VIX. Obviously, liquidity is a big deal and all this kind of stuff and and what you look at and so forth, but um we haven't come come back even close to

    17. that yet. Well, we're I guess relatively close, but here we are at call at 1770.

    18. Um yes, that's higher. It's higher by about 3% today. And that's probably to be expected. But, you know, this 52- week range, you know, sometimes I like to go back and look at that, John. And the low is 1340, but the high is a little bit north of uh 35. Here we are at 17. We're a heck of a lot closer

    19. right now, at least to the 52- week low.

    20. So, it's interesting that it hasn't grabbed a whole lot of steam today. It's been basically in a very, very tight range. So, we'll see if it can break out of that one way or the other. Um and that's going to be basically predicated by whatever it is that the Fed has to say.

    21. >> Yeah. Because what they're going to do is pretty certain.

    22. >> Um like Pete said, it's up to 93% right now. And uh uh basically Pete, somebody pretty big. Um I'll do that under prediction markets. A whale wallet. Some of you might be saying, well, what's a whale wallet? Well, a whale wallet is

    23. some wallet uh that has an awful lot of money in it.

    24. >> And it had at least $3.1 million in it, Pete, because that whale bet big on the Fed hiking 25 pips for September on Poly Market and our uh Rebel prediction scanner, which is kind of like the heat seeker for prediction markets, fared

    25. that trade out. Um so what does that mean? Well, so they put three million bucks in below 90, Pete, to make 10 cents.

    26. >> Um, which is not really, of course, 10 cents. Um, but 10% of $300 million, they make $300,000 if indeed the Fed hikes tomorrow. And I'd say that's a pretty good bet. How about you?

    27. >> Yeah, it sure seems like it is, John. I mean, it's it's where everybody's leaning. everybody's talking about. You hear the television folks out there all saying, "Hey, this is what's going to happen." We talk about the CME and, you know, the tool that they've got and so forth. So, I would say it's it's not a huge stretch at this point in time. I And and you know what? For a long time,

    28. it was going back and forth, back and forth. Remember, it was 5050 just like a week and a half ago or so, John. And so, interesting to see where we are now that it's pretty much a lock.

    29. >> Yeah. Well, um, we want to tell you something that you guys should lock in on, and that is, of course, uh, Circa 2026, Rebel Con, >> because we've got a heck of a lineup right now, folks. Let me just give you a

    30. few of the names. I won't even hit them all. Grant Cardone, Doug Fluty, uh, Steve Graasso, Lonnie Paxton. Well, Doug uh I mean rather uh Lonnie Paxton has three Super Bowl rings, Pete. Doug Fluty has a Heisman Award and he's in the

    31. College Football Hall of Fame. He's in the Canadian Football Hall of Fame. I mean, and we've got a lot more than that that are going to be showing up October 19th through 21st out in Las Vegas at Circa Hotel and Casino. So, scan that QR

    32. code right there and not only will that take you to a page where you can see all about what's going on, but you can join the Rebel Investment Club for free. Free for three months. Um, once you see it, you won't want to trade without it. It

    33. is great information. It's not AI generated. It's what Pete does in the morning, what John does in the morning, and then a wrap up throughout the day, as well as weekly um uh strategy sessions and so forth. Uh the Rebel Club is something special, folks. You got to

    34. check it out. And like I say, if you scan that QR code, it'll take you right to the page where you can sign up for Rebel Con and where you can actually join to get one of these uh cool hats.

    35. [laughter] And you get three free months. Nice. So, Sign up for Rebel Con.

    36. Sign up for the Rebel Investors Club.

    37. All right, Pete. Vera Therapeutics. It's kind of near and dear to your heart because for people with immune medicated kidney disease and Pete and I know what that means, folks. Pete knows much more than I do about it because he was premed. But um in other words, they give

    38. you an imunosuppressant, some something to keep your body from attacking a new kidney. for instance, if you get a transplant, our father pioneered a drug to do that known as ALG. Um, and now other companies make similar things, but apparently occasionally, Pete,

    39. >> an immune medicated kidney disease results, not from the one our dad came up with, but from some of these other treatments. And these guys, Vera Therapeutics, actually have a breakthrough treatment for that. And that's why the stock is rocking and rolling today.

    40. >> Yeah, it's kind of interesting, John. I mean, it flew to the upside. It's actually pulled back some, too. It's been kind of all over the place. And I I suppose there's probably reasons behind that. There's something something that we're not seeing necessarily, but you know, they they did use um some of the data that they were getting. 428 adults

    41. were part of this thing. um they were in the whole phase three part of it and all and going and seeking the full uh FDA approval and so forth, which is a big deal. This thing's kind of been bouncing. It doesn't really show one of them, John. It actually got all the way up as high as 37. I'm not sure why it didn't show up there, but um it's been

    42. there and it's also been, you know, down towards 33. So, it's interesting how this is playing out. This is something that was a bit of a known, I would say.

    43. So, um it's it's interesting to see where it is right now. They are seeking full FDA approval. So, that's another, you know, something where yeah, let's get even better. And I think that's great. It's great for the patients.

    44. That's for sure. But maybe for those that are uh that are waiting for this thing to make a little bit more of a move to the upside, maybe that comes after that.

    45. Well, then let's talk about a stock, Pete, that's seeing um a lot of uh interest in it so far today against a really bad tape. Um we've got shares of Skyworks Solutions up better than 10%.

    46. And it has built on this rally, Pete. I mean, in the pre-market it was only like 8283. Now it's 8750 and seemingly wants to move a lot higher. So, of course, a lot of you are saying, "Well, why is it wanting to move a lot higher?" Well, yesterday it was

    47. down 10%. Today, it takes it back. Um, there's a deal out there potentially, Pete, with a lot of synergies. And that deal that could happen, um, is apparently why people are chasing into Skywork Solutions today. And from what I'm seeing, Pete, uh, they just continue

    48. to buy. They haven't just bought it and then it fell back. They continue to buy throughout the session.

    49. >> Yeah, this is a merger potential thing with Corvo.$22 billion dollar. They're near completion. It's not fully completed. And that's one thing that's probably holding people back to some degree. John, as you said it, um it got hit on Monday, just yesterday. It was down 10%. Here today, you know, you're starting to see it. It's actually going

    50. up. And if you go back to last Friday, the stock was at 75. It went all the way up to 92. Um today it was 80 and now it's uh trading 88. So it's been moving around. There's a lot of movement there.

    51. People are talking about this this they are in the final stages of getting this this together. $500 million in those synergies that you were talking about, John. So yeah, there's still some things that need to be approved and once they do, I would say that this thing probably establishes a new 52- week high. I'm not

    52. saying it's just going to completely just blow people away because it's already moved from 75 just last Friday to 92, but I think it busts through and probably gets a few more uh points maybe to the upside for now.

    53. >> Well, let's talk about financial services, Pete. Something you and I know a little bit about maybe. [laughter] Um there's a company called Anova International and uh this company um is uh trading down by better than $57

    54. today. Pete, that's a 25% drop. And it tumbled uh because they withdrew their applications with the OC um and the Federal Reserve related to their proposed acquisition of Grasshopper Bank Corp. So apparently

    55. their CEO, Steve Cunningham, said the company did not believe uh regulatory guidelines provided clear standards for non-banks seeking to become banks. Um I don't blame Mr. Cunningham for saying that, but certainly the market is not

    56. giving Anova International or ENVA much credit at all. Instead, they're just answering with their hands like this, Pete. hands out, palms out, stock down.

    57. >> It is interesting though, John, because you know they reaffirmed their Q3, their outlook that their revenue growth, which is 25%, their adjusted earnings growth, which is 30% year-over-year. All these great numbers that are out there individually for Innova, but uh people are a little bit frustrated because they are, you know, they they're they're

    58. pulling away from this grasshopper bank corp that they're doing. It sounds like it sounds like they withdrew the application. So, it looks like they're going to be not doing this deal. Um, it just makes it a little bit more complicated, I think. But, I'll tell you, um, this might be oversold at this point in time from 230 all the way down

    59. to 167 or wherever it was, John, that you were just talking about. That's a pretty substantial hit. And it's not like they suddenly lost a whole lot, but they they did lose the idea at least to put these two together and to have that grasshopper bank corp. So, I get that part of it, but I think this might be a little bit overdone. This is probably a

    60. name that we should be watching pretty closely because um it's gotten hammered and maybe maybe hammered a little too much based upon what it what their outlook looks like for the company.

    61. >> Well, I'll leave you with one more good thought about it, folks. Uh they approved almost $350 million uh authorization for uh share buyback. M >> so it's down $57 25% and they're approving a buyback. Um might be a

    62. reason to follow some of the uh insights that Pete just shared with you right there. All right, one more Pete play, which is Dave and Busters. And uh Pete and I were trying to figure out who the heck goes to Dave and Busters. I mean,

    63. you know, I I threw out uh you know, because I've seen a an episode of The Office, Pete, where they go to a Dave and Busters and they're doing all those jumping around things and dancing things and, you know, it is the sort of thing

    64. that you would see um a uh relatively small, not a huge company go and do. uh you know like let's say you had between seven and 30 people in your company maybe you'd go to a place like a Dave and Busters order up a bunch of wings and beers and you know whatever and then

    65. play the games and give prizes and do it for a little camaraderie with your fellow workers. Maybe maybe [laughter] that's what happens. Um, but you're not going to do that every week. And these guys, the stock Pete is doing like this.

    66. And when you look at Yeah, that's exactly right.

    67. >> And it's not exactly coming from a lot.

    68. That's coming from nine down to under seven. So, uh, yeah, that's pretty ugly.

    69. And then as as you see Jared backing it up um back there uh when you look at August or June of last year or whatever, it's off the charts. I mean, it's down so far that it used to be a 20 $22 stock. This is not a stock split, folks.

    70. This is just hands out selling for the last couple years.

    71. >> It's a split. They just didn't know it happened. [laughter] >> Yeah, they just didn't know it happened.

    72. You didn't get twice as many shares at half the price.

    73. >> [laughter] >> You just got half the price.

    74. >> Well, I'm right there with you, John.

    75. And it's interesting because uh we joke about it, but I mean, the reality is, yeah, that used to be a really cool thing until the internet and until all of this started to get much better and incredibly better, you know, for those who want to do this kind of thing.

    76. They'd rather do it at home. And and by the way, they're going to be drinking their beers at home. They're going to be making their wings and they're turning it into a whole fiesta. But uh you know when you look at this John and you look at some of the numbers that they say that they're going to the unexpected Q2 they lost 27 cents. They're looking to

    77. make 19 cents. That's a pretty bad move.

    78. So you can understand why this thing's establishing a new 52- week low. It it did hit all the way down towards seven.

    79. It might have gotten a little bit off of there, but not not a whole lot. So it's established a new 52- week low today.

    80. But um you know it it for me at least this one it just seems like it makes sense. It makes total sense where it is.

    81. So you know you've heard me say this on multiple stocks today and in the last couple weeks. You know what? I kind of like this one. Might be interesting to kind of keep an eye on this one. Maybe some options will come in. Uh I'm not saying that about this one. [laughter] I I just you know what and and and and I'd love to see them do better. I, you

    82. know, I I'll be the first guy. I'll be behind a championship championing them.

    83. But, uh, the reality is, John, I don't I don't know how they're going to um pull out given the fact of how bad this past quarter was in the losses that they took. It's looking pretty ugly right now. And I I don't see where the repair comes from. I just don't I just don't see it. People can do this at home.

    84. People can do this a lot of different places. They can have their computers.

    85. they could all gather together somewhere with their computers and do something and probably have the same amount of fun. But, uh, yeah, that's that's where it stands for me with David Busters. And I hate to say it because like I say, I'd love to see them figure out a way to get out of this thing. I just don't see where it is.

    86. Well, let me throw out a shout out, Pete, to uh one of the people on the team over at Zebra Technologies because Pete and I talked about ZBR on the show.

    87. And I'm not saying it's making a breakout move today. It's up nicely from uh the June lows, which were right around 232 bucks a share, and uh it's 343 bucks a share now. So, you put on over a hundred bucks, that's pretty good. pretty good couple months. Yeah.

    88. Uh but he uh came up to me, Peta, as I was flying, as I frequently do, as I will be doing again tomorrow, and >> he came up to me and said, "Hey, I really like what you had to say about Zebra." And I said, "Really? You work there?" And he goes, "Yeah."

    89. [laughter] He was flying out to New York, Pete, to do a little work. Um and uh nice guy. Nice guy. And great company. That's that barcode kind of business that uh is so popular right now. But uh I just thought I'd give them

    90. a shout, Pete, because uh basically they're they're front line ensuring you know that uh people are able to uh use portfolios of uh uh stock and hardware and all the rest. I I just like the company. But um I just wanted to give

    91. him a shout out for being gutsy enough to come over and say, "Hey, I like what you guys do." I was listening.

    92. [laughter] >> Thank you.

    93. >> That's always flattering. Yeah.

    94. >> Thank you for that. All right, Pete. Uh let's take a look a little sports because we got an interesting one. Boy, have we had some interesting ones of late. Yeah, >> the Vikings, the Bears. I mean, we've had so many interesting ones. Let's see exactly what happened in the NFL with uh

    95. Mr. Mahomes when he actually has maybe arguably one of the best running backs in the NFL. This guy was the MVP of the Super Bowl for Seattle last year, folks.

    96. >> Let's uh give it a look and a listen here.

    97. >> We witnessed the best signing of the off season come to light right in front of us. Look at this right here. Look at him shake off that defender. The NFL saw the Chiefs missed the playoffs for one year and decided to let them have the Super Bowl MVP. This man literally broke off the Chiefs record tonight. I mean, he

    98. couldn't have had a more dominant game.

    99. And now, because of it, the Chiefs odds to win the AFC West have jumped to 56% on Cali. In his Chiefs debut, he had a careerhigh in rushing yards, 173 and two touchdowns. I kid you not, this man looked like a reincarnated Le'Veon Bell.

    100. I mean, how do you stop this? And by the way, if you want to stay updated on the NFL, make sure you're following. This is without a doubt the best of the offse.

    101. It's not even close. This Chief's offense tonight looked unstoppable and it was against one of the best defenses in the entire NFL. There's a reason they're the heavy favorites to now win the AFC West. I mean, who is stopping them tonight? We w >> I don't know who's stopping them, Pete.

    102. And he's right. Uh the Broncos defense was excellent.

    103. >> Absolutely excellent.

    104. >> Yeah.

    105. >> Um and they seemingly they would have gone Pete uh and done fabulous in the Super Bowl, but their quarterback Bo Nicks got dinged on that field goal Pete >> at the end of the game and uh turned out to be more than a ding. he was out. And

    106. you know, then you're playing a a pretty strong New England team that uh looked pretty good for a while again this year in their opening uh against Seattle, but then Seattle came back.

    107. >> Yeah.

    108. >> So, what do you think?

    109. >> Yeah, I'll tell you what. I I I agree.

    110. And I'll tell you, we talked about this guy actually because during the winter months or whatever, and we're still looking at the NFL and college football and all the rest of it along with basketball and everything else that we try to cover on sports, but you know, John, when you got free agency and you've got a guy who's the MVP of the Super Bowl and he's still very young and

    111. he did it in college, too, at Michigan State. I saw him up close and watched what what this kid can do. He's pretty amazing. Uh Kenneth Walker is just a a special guy. 23 carries, 173 yards in his opening game with the Chiefs. You know what that does? It opens up the pass. It helps out Patrick Mahomes more

    112. than probably anybody. Because for the people who don't remember, were the Chiefs in the playoffs last year?

    113. You know why? Well, you know what?

    114. Sometimes there's certain players that you've got to have and they needed a better running game. Well, they certainly got a better running game, John. And the offensive line, give them a lot of credit. They have a much better offensive line, I think, in the last two years than they have had and they've done a good job of replacing guys or, you know, doing free agency and drafting

    115. and everything else. I think you got to give kudos to what the Chiefs have done because you want to keep Patrick Mahomes as long as you can, right? I mean, that's the kind of quarterback that you want to have. And he had a nice night, a very nice night and and for all the right reasons. By the way, Travis Kelce had a pretty good night. three three

    116. catches, 71 yards. One of them was for 59 yards. That's to a tight end. So, just looking around at that, how about this? The defense for the Chiefs played 47 plays. 47.

    117. Just to just to give you a little bit of an idea, they were, you know, doing everything right. Denver was uh, you know, they they had moved around a little bit here and there. It was a pretty decent game until it wasn't. But uh the Chiefs won the second half and a lot of the time the second half is is even more important than how you start.

    118. It's how you finish and you know we see that type of thing all the time. So you know when I look at that John and they gave up a total of 177 yards on on on the defense of the Chiefs had held them to 177. That's pretty amazing in today's football in today's NFL to be able to

    119. hold somebody under 200 total yards. So I think this is great. Patrick Mahomes ought to be pretty happy that what they did and they went out and grabbed this kid. Kenneth Walker, John, I mean, does he remind you of anybody? I mean, I know there was some comparisons thrown out there, but what about you? Is there anybody you think he looks like?

    120. >> He's got speed.

    121. >> Well, he is so fast, Pete. And Walter Payeyton was fast, but not scary fast like this kid.

    122. >> This kid is much faster. And he has that sideways motion though when he goes into the hole where it's like he shuffles his feet and then all of a sudden goes right or he goes left.

    123. >> Um whereas a lot of other people turn their shoulders and point to where they're going. He just runs straight at guys and all of a sudden just shuffles and goes right or left.

    124. >> Something I don't see a lot in the NFL or in college football for that matter.

    125. Um, and if you get caught, you'll know why you don't see it. Because if that linebacker who's standing right there in front of you doesn't take the bait with your little shuffle, he's going to wrap you up and throw you down uh right into the turf.

    126. You might not do that little shuffle in front of him too often, but a lot of these guys, Pete, if you're on your heels, when he's breaking through the hole, as you saw those, and you accurately called, very big holes by the offensive line as those were opened up.

    127. Um, all of a sudden, those linebackers and defensive backs are on their heels.

    128. They're backing up not to not because they're running away from the play, but because the whole pile is coming at them >> and number 52 or number 65 or whatever are just plowing ahead at these guys and they're trying to get around what this massive offensive line is doing. That's

    129. the line, Pete, that really kind of let Seattle's defense have a field day with them. Yeah. um in the Super Bowl and I think they were embarrassed and Andy Reid must have really worked them and perhaps stuck a couple new guys in there. [laughter] >> John, as far as college football, because we're going to stick with

    130. football because it's so exciting right now. I mean, just the kickoff and getting everything going and now getting a little bit deeper into it. LSU football has never been quite like it is right now and Lane Keifin is the reason why. Um they are sitting at right now ranked number seven. You know who's number eight? Old Miss. You know where

    131. Do you know where Lane Keifin just came from? Old Miss. So, this is a pretty interesting game coming up in front of us this weekend. That's going to be really really cool. It's going to be in Oxford, John. I mean, it's it's going to be unbelievable because there's a lot of people who are not very friendly anymore, not very happy about Lane Kein.

    132. They loved him when he was at Old Miss, but he's not there. And he he said, "See you guys later. I'm going to LSU. It's a better better opportunity. Well, is it?

    133. Well, we'll we'll find out. I'll tell you what, they do have a lot of talent at LSU. I'm just joking. But and Old Miss, they don't lack talent either.

    134. They went out and got themselves a quarterback who looks pretty damn good, John. This Trinidad Chamblas, five touchdowns, an interception, 68% or 68 QBR. He's got five rushing touchdowns as well. So, uh, this could be one of those games where it's not only fun to watch, but if you're a hater of Lane, you're

    135. going to love it. If you're a lover of Lane, you're going to love it because he he is a guy. I know him well. He is a guy who he is who he is and he doesn't cover it up at all. What he thinks, he'll say it. I mean, you know, so he's a unique guy. By the way, uh, at LSU, he

    136. beat the snot out of Clemson 51 to zip.

    137. And then last week, Louisiana Tech, let's just say, you know, they beat him, which they did. Old Miss played Louisville. That was okay. It was a good game actually, 4138. And then they played Charlotte, who they blew out. So, this ought to be a big big It's got to be the biggest game of the weekend. I I can't imagine any of the games better than that. Number seven against number

    138. eight.

    139. Well, and LSU has favored Pete by three, >> two and a half or three depending on whether it's DraftKings or Cali or wherever you want to bet. Um >> the uh the money line is LSU uh giving 150 or so. Um

    140. >> I think this is going to be a great game because uh that crowd I know Clemson calls their field Death Valley.

    141. >> Yeah. When you go down in there, I think these guys I might be mistaken, but I think in Bon Rouge, >> uh they also refer to theirs as uh Death Valley and Go Tigers and all the rest of

    142. it. This is a uh a tough place to play.

    143. >> Um the fans are going to be all over the Mississippi fans. I mean, you know, I'm I'm not rooting for it, but I'm betting there's going to be a lot of fights in the stands, Pete, because >> it could be.

    144. >> Like you said, these guys don't like each other. They don't like the way LSU went after their coach. And uh I I think CBS is going to be very happy uh with the ratings on this one. It's going to be on CBS, folks. And uh uh I think you're going to see a heck of a game.

    145. Overunder, Pete. That's one that I'm kind of surprised how high it is.

    146. They're basically saying it's going to be 30 to 28 or something. It's a 58 point overunder. So, they're saying both of these teams can score. And I think they're right. Both of them can. It's okay. Who makes mistakes and who shuts the other team down?

    147. >> Um, if they can because like you said, Trinidad Chamblas, great quarterback.

    148. Um, the one that LSU got, the one that they stole ain't too bad either, Pete.

    149. [laughter] So, uh, yeah, they're it's not the same as Ohio State Texas, but it could be as good a game as that one was. This could be the same.

    150. >> Yeah. Should it should be fun. I I know it's all the way out to Saturday still, but uh I'm looking forward to that one, John. And I you know what, there's going to be some other great games as well.

    151. But uh I think when you see ranked teams playing one another and you see these guys as highly ranked as they are playing against each other, that's that's pretty impressive. And I'll tell you what, that Texas game was a heck of a lot of fun last week with Ohio State, right? I mean, it all culminated in the fourth quarter. I mean, that's what you're kind of looking for is those kind

    152. of games. And hopefully hopefully this game is uh is is a good head-to-header.

    153. We'll see. Should be pretty fun.

    154. >> Yep. And by the way, uh, Lane Keifin used to be a ball boy when Pete was at the Vikings. That's Oh, >> that's how old I am.

    155. >> That's [laughter] how old Pete is, and I'm older than him.

    156. All right. Well, nice job, Pete. Uh, folks, thanks for tuning in. Be sure to scan that QR code so that you can join us in Vegas. We had a big surge in ticket sales yesterday. Um, we've got Doug Fluty, uh, Heisman Award winner.

    157. We've got uh uh I think we're gonna have my friend Ray Lewis coming on down too, Pete. As well as Lonnie Paxton, three Super Bowl rings. By the way, I think Ray has two, Pete.

    158. >> Um but it's going to be a fabulous time.

    159. And it's not just Rhra. It's uh basically everything you need to know about making money in crypto, in uh data centers, in the software and hardware companies. Is it time to sell them all or time to double down? We're going to have answers to all of that. Pete and I

    160. will be on stage a lot talking to many of those luminaries that you have right up there as well as quantum and uh uh AI and so forth. I think it's going to be a fabulous couple days and it takes place basically in Vegas at the beautiful

    161. Circa Hotel and Casino. Uh it starts on the 19th of October and it ends on the 21st. That's the QR code. Scan that one right there, folks. And uh Pete, we're gonna see him tomorrow, right?

    162. >> We'll see him tomorrow at 1 PM. John, let's hope let's hope we got to worry about John a little bit. We'll find out.

    163. [laughter] >> We got to worry about the flight.

    164. >> Yeah. Yeah, exactly.

    165. One Easter.

    166. >> Hopefully Pete gassed up the jet.

    167. [laughter]

    168. Heat. Hey. Hey. Hey.

    169. [music]
