Weekend Panic Was Wrong — VIX Collapses & Markets Rip Higher
Watch on YouTubeSummary
The hosts discuss a stock-market rebound and sharp declines in volatility and crude oil, attributing the reversal to easing geopolitical fears and arguing against panic selling. They also highlight bullish options activity in Marvell, regulatory developments at Capricor Therapeutics, and blockchain-based lending growth at Figure Technology before turning to sports.
- The hosts attribute improved sentiment to President Trump's comments suggesting the conflict could end sooner than feared.
- The VIX fell from roughly 35 to around 23; the hosts argue that the elevated implied volatility was unlikely to persist.
- Crude oil retreated from a reported weekend spike near $120, with the hosts questioning fears of prolonged supply disruption.
- Marvell drew bullish signals from two trading systems, including options activity targeting $130 when shares were around $89; the hosts cite strong AI infrastructure demand and quarterly revenue growth.
- Capricor Therapeutics rose roughly 15–17% after the FDA agreed to review its resubmitted application for a Duchenne muscular dystrophy therapy; approval remains pending.
- Figure Technology reported more than $22 billion in home-equity loan originations, with the hosts highlighting potential efficiencies from blockchain-based lending.

Welcome back to the Rebels Edge, where we're going to be detailing for you exactly why we sell into fear like what we saw over the weekend for instance.
Both hands out, that's right. That's what Pete's doing folks and he'll be joining me shortly. WHAT DO YOU MEAN PETE'S BACK? YEAH, Pete's back and so is the market. We've got the answers to all your questions right after this on the Rebels Edge.
Well, for a change, the guy sitting next to me virtually is is not the guy with tattoos all the way up his neck and a full head of hair.
But that's not a criticism Pete because I don't have any either. I mean But yeah, Justin was kind enough to sit in yesterday Pete when you were not feeling quite yourself after your back and forth to the West Coast but
it's great to have you back man. I'm I'm let me just say one real quick thing.
Can we stop guys that are sick from getting on planes and hacking and gagging all over everybody cuz that's where I The guy right next to me and I'm like he goes hey that's you and I'm like yeah and saw the commercial on or whatever and I go yeah all that kind of stuff.
The next thing I know he starts hacking and gagging and I'm like great.
But it is what it is.
>> Yeah, and I understand you know each of our schedules are so important that no matter if If on death's door you're going to get on the airplane.
Um I remember back in the day, Pete, it'd be freaking messed up to hear you. You'd think they were wearing hijabs or whatever.
Well, uh folks, this is the Rebel's Edge. We're going to break down for you some of the big stories uh including the Straits of Hormuz, which apparently a lot of people turn off a lot of people a lot of boats turn off their transponders as they go through there and you can tell because the peak of the Straits of
Hormuz cuz it goes something like this, the peak there there's nothing there.
And then all of a sudden the boat pops up from this side, cuts off its transponder, and pops up again on this side.
So, which kind of tells us maybe a lot of stuff is indeed getting through the Straits of Hormuz and uh a lot of the fearmongering, Pete, that drove crude oil up to 120 this weekend it ain't anywhere near 120 anymore, folks. Nope.
All right. Let's dive into uh the macro picture other than that, Pete, and we'll say, "Well, investor sentiment uh certainly improved when the president President Donald J. Trump said, uh 'Hey, we're very complete and potentially way ahead of schedule.'" And that did ease a
lot of fears and as those fears came down, Pete'll be telling you in a second about how fast the VIX came down. Yeah, isn't that something? Well, first off, I think that there is nothing else even close to that news, John. So, that is the macro news. The fact that he did say the president did say, "Very complete." And you know what? People all of a
sudden had a little bit of a relief because they didn't know how long this thing might go. Um and it's probably going to it sounds like be shorter than than some of the anticipation. So, that was something that I think certainly resonated with everybody. I'll just jump right to the VIX, John, and say this.
Please. We got that massive spike yesterday. We got up to 35, I think was the high, something like that. Yep.
>> Um and how long were we up there? Not very long. You could see just by that chart that it was a split second before it started to drop, and then it started coming down in chunks, right? And as we got up further down and further down, the chunks got even bigger all the way
down towards where we actually finished, which was very close to 23. Where were we today? Are we close to 23? Where were we today? We're right around that 23 level, right? I mean, something very close to that. But, um I will say this.
Understand the VIX in this way. When you get up towards 35, that's looking at a 2% move for the S&P and a little bit more than 2% actually, but we'll just say 2% move. Now, do you think that's going to happen every single day?
Because if you do, I got a nice bridge TO SELL YOU.
AND A WHOLE BUNCH of VIX calls. Oh, yeah.
And a boatload of VIX calls. But, um you know, I mean, the reality is it's tough for it to be up that level very long, John. It it really is. It's tough to be over 2% for very long. So, I you know, this was pretty quick, obviously, but um you know what? It makes total sense, and and that's what the way people I think
have to look at this thing, and they have to understand the VIX a lot better.
I heard a lot of people on television yesterday telling us, "Oh god, yes. Oh, this Who knows when this will stop?" or whatever, and it's like, uh I got an idea.
I got A REALLY GOOD IDEA, FOLKS. Because it stopped pretty quick.
Cuz I was feeling pretty crappy yesterday, so I sat in front of the TV, not something I normally do, and I'm sitting there watching financial TV, and and I'm listening to some of the the stuff I hear.
Stuff could be a four-letter word starting with S. But anyway, unbelievable to hear some of the stupid things that I was hearing yesterday because you just got to understand how long does this sustain? And I don't think people get it, but uh here we are at 23.
Yep, and broke 23 just a little bit ago, Pete. 2280, I think, so far as the low of the day. And uh again, that that still implies a move of about I'd say 1 and 1/2% Pete.
Yep. And we ain't sustaining there, either. Except that the S&P, Dow Jones, and Nasdaq are all higher. And you know what's lower today, Pete? Well, other than the VIX, crude oil.
I mean, so again, uh what I talked about yesterday with Justin, Pete, was that uh if sustainable at 120, um without any of the actual cuts that uh the former President Biden put in
that caused it to go to 120 back in 2022, Pete. Again, just like Pete, I have a bridge I could sell you folks and a whole bunch of upside oil calls, too.
Because no, we're not sustaining up at those levels, especially with I don't know, 90 million barrels floating out on tankers right now. Um and then all the rest of it that is indeed coming around the Straits of Hormuz. You can just follow my Twitter. You see my name on the screen, and you'll see I tweeted it
yesterday. Showed, "Hmm, they seem to be turning off their transponders here, going through the strait, and turning it back on here. I wonder why?" All right. Well, Pete, let's do a prediction exchange. Yeah.
One of my favorite actors, um Michael B. Jordan. Um and Pete's going to be talking about the other Michael Jordan later in sports. But this Michael B. Jordan, you know, he played in the Black Panther.
Uh, no, he was not Chadwick Boseman. Um, he was instead Killmonger in the first uh, Black Panther. But he's also plays twin brothers in uh, Sinners. And he is a 59%
chance. It went up 10% yesterday. So obviously um, even ahead of Timothy Chalamet, who I think was nominated for Dune 2, Pete, but I don't know. I don't watch Dune. I mean, I'm not a >> neither.
And DiCaprio, you know, DiCaprio's only a 4% chance for uh, his movie this year.
But I'd say Michael B. Jordan, love you, Michael. I think you do a fabulous job and uh, he's also in all those Creed movies, Pete.
>> Yeah. Um, he plays Apollo Creed's son and uh, the the dude is shredded and he is committed uh, to uh, working out.
I'll tell you that.
I like these percentages and I think they look pretty accurate to me, John.
Will there be a bit of a Is it going to be fairly close? Probably when it's all said and done, yeah, relatively close, maybe a little closer, but I think um, it's interesting and you know, how fun is it that that those are things now that because of what we're able to do are things that you can actually invest in or or maybe trade or whatever you
want to call it.
Bet.
Yeah.
I'd call it a bet. But why not? For years they blocked it and then somebody came up with the brilliant idea to say, Pete, well, if we do it under a commodity exchange instead of a securities exchange, maybe we'll get away with it. And indeed they have.
Uh, all right. Let's take a look at a unusual option activity. And the reason this one um, Marvell is so compelling here, Pete, is not only did we have unusual activity with what Pete and I created, folks, which we call the Heat Seeker, and it is our unusual option
activity or UOA, which we are known for and which we have uh trademarked the process of doing it, also patented, but we also had it on Trade Monster AI, Pete, which is what Justin Newgent, who is sitting in for you yesterday, what he
does for Market Rebellion. And both systems kicked off yesterday and said, "You better be getting long some Marvell here." Well, it moved up today. And here's what the unusual activity looked like there. When we see that activity, folks, we uh put it up for our uh
subscribers.
So does Justin, and there you see, by the way, if you scan that QR code, you could be trading that just like Pete does, just like I do. Um MRVL 89, well, today it's moving up and uh I think it goes a lot higher. And look at what their target was, Pete. 130 was what
they targeted when the stock was 89 bucks. Yeah. Well, it it it's definitely something very interesting in Marvell. I think the one thing that if you could take something away from this whole thing, too, John, is demand is there and they they continue to pound that down and try to unders-
have people understand that the demand is there for for all of these things, AI infrastructure and so forth. And And I you know, that's why when you look at their revenue, well, their record revenue, record revenue on Q4 was up 22% year-over-year. So, when you look at some of the numbers that they put up and
they put these up, you know, a little while ago, not that long ago, but they've got strong earnings, they've got strong gross margins, they've got great revenue that's at a record for Q4. I would say right now Marvell is doing pretty well and I think it's a bit of a read through to some degree that the AI
that the fact that it's it's blowing up or whatever people want to say. Um, I'm not really sure that that's something that you're should be your takeaway when we've gone through the earning season so far. We're seeing some pretty amazing numbers and a lot of folks out there that are saying demand is there. Demand
is there. I mean, we hear it time and time again. So, um, interesting and uh Marvell now sits really close, John, to those 52-week highs. So, you know, another day where that stock has a pretty nice performance to the upside.
Yeah. And uh by the way, uh Tom Lee, a friend of Pete's and mine, um who we were lucky enough to share stages with with Grant Cardone as well as uh on multiple uh uh networks that cover business news. Um, Tom Lee says, Pete,
if you're worried about uh GDP, um and the fact that uh things like higher energy prices could impact GDP, he says, well, what you know what people go for when that happens? Growth stocks.
And this is one of them. Growth stock.
Not just a uh you know, just a regular S&P 500 non-growth stock. This is a growth stock and I think the upside bet all the way out to 130 implies exactly that. Yep. All right. How about Capricor
Therapeutics, Pete? The US FDA agreed to review the company's previously rejected lead candidate. So, they basically looked at this and they say, you know, for Duchenne muscular dystrophy, um what are we, you know,
what has what has Capricor um done to change things? Well, they've made a few adjustments and then they reply uh, uh reapplied. Easy for me to say, for their biologic license application. And that is a positive for the stock. That's why
the stock was up double digits so far today. Yeah, and it doesn't hurt that there's a bit of a seasonal sizable short interest in here, too, John. 12 to 13% on the short side. We have a great balance sheet for these guys. Stock is up today significantly. Last I looked, it was somewhere between 15 17% to the
upside. But the fact that they were, you know, they got rejected, but they did what they needed to do. They want to get this thing out as quick as they can. And they're talking about getting this thing done, you know, expeditiously, John. Um, they really want to get this thing out there so that they can actually start working with the the poor people that
unfortunately have to deal with this.
And they they're able to get the therapy, the muscular dystrophy folks.
So, um, I think it's a win-win-win. And hopefully they can get it on this round, John, where they can get through there and get the possibility for this to be used for the folks that really need it.
So, um, when I when I look at this one and I see how fast it's moving to the upside, I think a little bit of that's coming also from the squeeze. They haven't been been given that blessing yet, right? But they at least have the opportunity to be able to do it basically now. So, I I'm excited for them and I'm excited for all
the folks out there that that really need this.
Well, let's talk about Figure Technology, Pete. Um, FGR. Why? It's not one we've talked about all that much.
And even though these numbers are big, they are minuscule compared to, um, some of the, uh, uh, statistically important financial institutions out there like JP Morgan, of course, and City and even big regionals. I mean, but these guys, Pete,
over 22 billion in home equity originated loans. Mhm. Um they announced this at a big tech conference uh and their block paint blockchain powered center stage at that major tech conference and uh people were pretty
enthused about what they're able to do using the blockchain and uh I think this is the beginning, not the end for these guys. I think 22 billion's a good start but as I said, it's minuscule compared to major money center banks and the fact that these guys might be able to use
that technology to make things cheaper and bring loans to the market faster, that's a really good thing.
Yeah, and they have now John become the largest non-bank home equity provider.
So, gives you a little bit of an idea of of the fact that yeah, they they pale in comparison to some things but not this.
They're the leader right now digital finance. So, up 12% today or more.
January the stock was higher though. It was up at 77. Today even up four bucks it's up somewhere close to 36 or 37. So, it's got plenty of room to the upside if if indeed folks start to uh to understand what they've been able to do but like you said, they set a record with 22 billion in home equity
originated.
So, that that tells me that they're on their way and and I think this is just the beginning. I think this is one of those things where we're going to see more and more of this as as people start to embrace this uh that side of the world John that that whole side of the world where you're looking at things that are in the digital space, right?
And I think this is a great example of that. Strength is really really impressive to what they're doing as far as this move. They got like I say, I'm I'm excited about this one because I think if we see some unusual option activity here, wow, this one I think would be one where I'd say, well, could
it get back up towards 70, 75, 77 maybe even? Yeah, but um we'll wait to see if when we see some of that unusual option activity, if we do.
Or Trade Monster AI. Oh, hey.
Hey.
Um let's take a look uh to wind up the four stocks we're looking at today, folks.
Vertex Pharmaceutical. Um these guys use biotechnology to basically go after really tough diseases like cystic fibrosis and so forth. So, um they reported a very encouraging week 36 interim result for their phase three.
Now, uh again, I'll let Pete describe exactly why it's so important to get through phase three, but obviously, that means you obviously had a successful phase one, phase two, and now you're going after phase three. Um and the fact that they're this close to being able to
put something out there against this placebo-adjusted reduction is a big deal, right, Pete?
Yeah, absolutely, John. And they're talking about, you know, kidney disease of a of this particular factor, excess protein, all those things that go into it, but yeah, uh they're pretty darn excited about this, John. I think I think that they're, you know, they're encouraged by what the phase three trials are showing and the fact that, you know what, the next step is the most
important step of all. That's where you go got to get that approval. It seems like a slam dunk, but it doesn't mean it's going to be a slam dunk. But certainly, uh the chances are are very high for regulatory approval in this name. Now, you can see it by that chart.
This thing is already sniffing right up near very close to the to the highs, if not the highs. And I don't know, John. I think if they get if they were able to get that approval, uh this thing definitely gets up there pretty big.
Like a lot of them, um they've they're waiting for this moment, right? And this is the moment that they've been shooting for for a while now. And it like I say, near the 52-week highs, it's up what? 9% today.
Um, there's a lot of excitement right now going towards the fact that this stock, if they can get this to the next level and get that approval, um, that's going to be huge.
Well, um, I know you guys have missed some of the videos, the sports videos when Pete was out. Um, but we're back with a great one. Um, and uh, unfortunately, Pete, one of them that I thought the Bears had to get, this Lindbom, uh, Yeah. he
signed the richest, uh, offensive lineman contract ever, but we lost our center, he retired at 26 or 27. Yeah. We needed him, and apparently he was just too expensive for us. Uh, but he is one of many free agents, and we want you
guys to take a look and listen to the free agency recap here. Something day one of NFL free agency in 60 seconds.
The Colts made Alec Pierce the highest paid free agent wide out ever. The Chiefs making Kenneth Walker the highest paid free agent running back ever. And the Raiders making Tyler Linderbaum the highest paid interior lineman ever. Tua is out in Miami heading to the ATL on a one-year deal. And with Tua out, Malik Willis is the new QB1 for the Dolphins.
The Jets made a big splash totally revamping their defense after trading for Minkah Fitzpatrick, signing Joseph Ossai, Kingsley Enagbare, Demario Davis, and David Onyemata. The Mike Evans era is over in Tampa Bay after the receiver agreed to a three-year $60 million deal with the 49ers. Adofo-Oweh is off the
market after agreeing to a four-year $100 million deal with the Commanders with $68 million guaranteed. The Panthers getting bold agreeing to a four-year $120 million dollars with edge rusher Phillips and the Steelers shocked some by trading for wide receiver Michael Pittman adding him next to star
wideout DK Metcalf, but who is their quarterback? TBD on that one.
Who is their quarterback?
Is it going to be Rodgers again or not?
I don't know. I You know what? The Vikings are still one of those of the many cuz there are many, but one of those that everybody says, well, you know, is it going to be Kirk Cousins? Is it going to be Aaron Rodgers? Is it going to be what veteran quarterback are we going to bring in here? And of course they're they're really hot hot on uh the quarterback down in Arizona who's
now going to be free a free agent to be able to sign as well, Kyler Murray. I know, but John, you know why he might be the best pick of them all quite honestly?
>> Why? Cuz the offensive line stinks so bad for the Minnesota Vikings with 60 sacks last year that this guy's going to have to run for his life and Kyler Murray's the most athletic of that group we were just talking about because let me tell you, if Aaron Rodgers is back there and he's got that same offensive line basically
uh they might have more than 60 sacks cuz he at 40-plus years old is uh not moving the same as he was when he was in his low and mid-30s. Anyway, free agency, John, it's great, it's cool.
Here's one that I wanted to throw out to you though.
The Raiders. Now, you you the the funny thing is is how you you put up that that video and everything and I already had this and you already had your thing, but who signed that center that's so damn good, Linderbaum? Well, Wait.
>> to be the Las Vegas Raiders. They gave him 3 years 81 million dollars, John.
You know where that kid played cuz he's you know he's he's always a rich kid anyway, you know, blah. He played at Iowa. He came from a farm and here he is now with a 3-year 81 million-dollar contract And why? Because he's the best damn center in all of football, that's why. And I'll tell you what, they play the call for all the offensive lineman
and everything else. So, that was somebody that pretty much everybody wanted. Now they've got him. We all know that he's going to they're going to go with Fernando, right? In the first pick. You know who's going to make that pick? Tom Brady's going to walk out there. He was talking about how he's more and more involved than people think with the
Raiders. And I think he's the guy who said, "Get him a center because we gave up 64 sacks last year with the Raiders." They beat the Vikings by four. Here's who else they got, John. Jalen Nailer, the a receiver who went before Justin Jefferson, and then eventually came to
the Vikings and now he's off. Three years, 35 million. They've got a linebacker, Quay Walker, Dean. Three years, 36 million. They got another linebacker, Quay Walker. Three year, 40 million. They signed another defensive end, three-year 48 million. So, I would
say that the Raiders, who did have a lot of cap space, by the way, and that's shrinking pretty quickly, but they're going out, they're spending the money, John, and they're going to to be a much different team than they will. Now, I would say this, they still need some alignment help on the offensive line.
They've got everything else. They've got receivers, they've got the best running back, potentially, if he can if he can get an offensive line to open up a hole, John, you're going to have a great running back there. So, there's a lot to be said about what the Raiders are doing and how they're doing it. I think they
did the right thing by by doing the the types of trades that they made to sign to some of these guys. They just they had the cap room, they needed the cap room, and they had it, and and here they are signing all these guys. They They a big great defensive player to Baltimore, so that was kind of like a
you're giving up your your center for this big defensive end. That was a pretty interesting deal. That wasn't an actual trade, but they did both go back and forth from Baltimore. So, kind of interesting to see how the Raiders are starting to shape up. If they can get a couple more offensive lineman, John, at least one or two, I think that this is
going to be really really interesting.
And hell, draft them. Get them on a rookie contract. Who cares? They've got all the people that they need in a lot of the different positions. They got one of the best tight ends maybe in all of football. Nobody even knows his name because of the fact that he plays for the Raiders and they stink and they're 3 and 14 last year. So, they're not going
to be 3 and 14 this year, John.
Well, as Pete just said, folks, the Baltimore trade, you know, Baltimore getting um Max Crosby.
They gave up two number ones. They gave up a number one in this year's draft, a number one in next year's draft. A projected, we'll see where where that, you know, it it depends on how Baltimore does, of course. We already know how they did in 2025. They were good, um but
they weren't great. Um if they end up being great in the 2026 season, then the 2027 draft pick isn't going to be quite as good. But, to Pete's point, they free up 31 million in cap space by trading Max Crosby.
And they're going to get a number one that they could either trade. It's the 14th overall pick in the draft, by the way, folks. They could either trade that number one or use it to get, you know, one of the stud O-lineman or whatever that they're going to need for Fernando Mendoza. So, I like what Brady and the
crew are doing in Vegas, Pete, and you're right. This isn't going to be a 3 and 13 team anymore. This is going to be a really competitive team that might even, you know, depending, might even be one of those real threatening teams into the playoffs. Yeah. Yeah, I think that they're they're making all the moves
they needed to and those draft picks are going to be great. Obviously, they got the first pick in the draft that's going for for Fernando, but that's going to be fun. We got another clip, John, we got to show because this one this one I think I'm surprising you with this clip, but you're going to really like it. I know it's it's my guy Ant.
Anthony Edwards. fun game here in the Twin Cities. Look at the moves by Edwards.
Watch this.
>> Look at this. He just left the court.
Did you see that one? Goes throws it against the backboard.
>> up.
Now, it's amazing to watch and who does that guy kind of look like? Who does he have a little bit of the same sort of attributes? Who does he look at that?
YOU KNOW THAT power in your face slam.
And John, these blocks >> Look at that. His head is above the rim.
Yep. Yep, he's damn near hitting it on the on the backboard, for God's sakes.
And you know, half of these are dunks, but the other half are blocks. What does that mean? It means that he plays both sides of the court. That's what it means. This guy runs the court. By the way, does Anthony Edwards really ever do load management? The answer's 100% no. He
does not. He understands that there are kids out there. He was probably one of them back in the day, but there are kids out there that get one shot at going to see a guy like Anthony Edwards here in Minnesota, right? If he's not playing because he wants to sit out and kind of rest a little bit, uh
how how's that doing for that little kid? Probably not very good. And the dad is going to be mad, the mom's going to be mad, the whole family's going to be mad because they went there to see Anthony Edwards. Well, though if they go there now, John, they're going to see Anthony Edwards. This guy I'm going to I'm going to dare to say it.
He's the second coming of Michael Jordan. And I say that because he's on a terrible team. Now, I don't think he's Michael Jordan. I don't think he's better than Michael. As a matter of fact, he's probably well down the list still, but he's building up a resume that's pretty damn good because this guy
he's he's averaging just under just under 30 points a game, John. Plus, he doesn't really mind, as you saw in that video, blocking once in a while, too, right? Shot blocking. That's playing defense. That's not flopping on the ground when a guy comes running into you. It's going up with the guy and
slapping that ball out of the arena. So, pretty exciting, I think. I think it's really cool to see a guy like like him doing as well as he's doing. The problem that we have in Minnesota is we've got to deal with OKC. And OKC has also got a
great player here. A great great another kid. Chet Holmgren is probably the most underrated kid in the NBA. And I don't say that just cuz I like his family. I like his dad, who I played high school basketball with. John, Chet Holmgren is unreal at 7 ft what he can do on the the
way he runs the court and everything that he does. Pretty special. That's a really, really good team that's got a pretty much a dynasty that they've created. But if Minnesota could ever get past them, they have a really interesting shot, I think, to uh maybe get a title one of these days. But it's going to be tough.
Yep, it will be uh because they don't have the players around him yet, Pete. Right.
>> And will they or will he have to go somewhere else? We don't know, but he's played 435 games so far, Pete. Uh in his career. He's averaging almost 25 points a game. He does a heck of a lot of blocks, like Pete says. His field goal
uh percentage is 45%.
Three-point percentage 37%.
So, he's not just five-slam-a-jama.
He can jam with the best of them, but he can also shoot. And he does play defense, and he doesn't flop like LeBron or Laflop, as I like to call him.
Yeah. Uh the best was this weekend, Pete, when he no one touched him and he fell, and then he grabbed his elbow, and then he realized, well, that's not where I fell. So, he grabbed the other elbow.
I SAW THAT.
LIKE, WHAT?
BUT ANYWAY, YEAH. That guy has ruined his legacy. Yeah. LeBron James, that is.
Meanwhile, this guy is posting up numbers that make it difficult to not put him in the conversation. Not for the goat, like Pete said, but certainly for one of the best players playing in the NBA right now. Yeah.
This guy is that good. Yeah. Special special to watch. He's he's just a and he's a great guy in the community, too, John. Just I know you don't live here.
You're a Chicago guy. You're actually more of a Puerto Rico guy and all the rest of that, but I'll tell you what, it's it is amazing all the stuff that he does behind the scenes here in the Twin Cities is is amazing. And he and he's generous beyond uh what most people would ever guess. So, it's pretty cool the and and how old is he? He's like he's been in the NBA now, I don't know
how many years, but shoot, John, the guy's like 23 or something.
I mean, is that crazy? It's nuts.
Yeah, it is. And it's wonderful, too.
And you guys are lucky to have him.
Yeah. Just like Justin Jefferson, and hopefully they don't waste those two because they should be on teams where they're notching up championships rather than just you know, great players on average teams but uh you know, Minnesota had a chance. I mean, you know, they had both Kirk
Cousins Pete um and a guy that won 14 games for him 2 years ago and they just said, "Nope, don't need him." They had Sam Darnold, "Nope, don't need him." That's crazy.
>> types of decisions by their GM are why that GM got fired in Minnesota. No doubt.
>> All right, well, Pete, great to have you back. Um good luck to you the rest of the day trading and so forth and folks, we're still looking at some positive numbers here. So, keep in mind uh the world only ends once and this ain't the time. It ain't half.
>> So, take advantage of the opportunities that you get from the market rather than panicking and uh saying, "What should I sell? What should I sell?" By the way, you should have sold energy yesterday like we said.
Um but anyway, Pete, we're back at what time tomorrow?
1:00 p.m.
Oh, East Coast. That's right.
>> East Coast. East Coast.
1:00 p.m. East Coast even after daylight savings time.
Bang.
See you tomorrow at 1:00, folks.
