Agents now build, size, and route options trades on a person's behalf, but each one reverse-engineers the primitives by hand: what a strategy is, what an alert means, what an execution instruction looks like across E*TRADE, Schwab, TastyTrade, Fidelity, and IBKR. None of them knows when a broker changes a field. Every team ends up rebuilding the same brittle, unverifiable integration, and no two look alike.

OptionsSchema is the foundation building that layer: the standard sitting between agents and options execution venues, in roughly the position ISO, IETF, and W3C hold in their own domains. What we publish is a versioned specification, a public registry of conforming schemas, and documented methods for verifying each one. We do not build a broker, and we do not custody customer assets. That published layer is the shared contract responsible options agents are built on.

    What OptionsSchema publishes

The live demo runs a schema-driven agent interview against a published registry schema. Every field, validation rule, and payload comes straight from the schema at runtime. None of it is scripted for the demo.

We are founding the standard. This is early-stage work, and we say so plainly: built to last, built in public.

OptionsSchema is built in the open by Rebel Trade. The draft specification, the schema registry, and the verification practices are all published on this site. More venues and more builders make the standard better. If you build agents, or you know an options workflow well, read the draft spec, review the registry, and propose a schema.
